Halloween 2022: Kim Kardashian to Lili Reinhart, All the Spooky Costumes Worn By Hollywood Celebrities

Halloween 2022 is here with the perfect moment for Hollywood celebrities to come out of the shadows and show off their spooky outfits, to win the internet. This year’s choices of costumes seem to be inspired by film and animated characters, from X-Men to Corpse Bride.

Halloween 2022 Costumes

Kylie Jenner

The reality star dressed up as Elvira: Mistress of the Dark for this Halloween. She is seen donning the signature beehive hairdo and plunging black dress that accentuates her assets, with the 80s chic makeup. Elvira: Mistress of the Dark is a 1988 American comedy horror film directed by James Signorelli. It stars Cassandra Peterson as eccentric horror hostess Elvira.

Prior to this, she also posted photographs of her dressed up as the Bride of Frankenstein from the 1935 film of the same name, as seen on her Instagram. Her look features a custom white Jean Paul Gaultier mummy-style bandage gown, a gravity-defying black and white wig and fake scars.

Kim Kardashian

When it comes to a costume party or appearance, Kim Kardashian is the one to look out for. This time as well, she outdid herself by donning the latex suit as she painted her face blue, dyed her hair red, wore pointed high blue heels and transformed into X-men’s mystique. While her last transformation at the Met Gala was met with much criticism, her new metamorphosis is highly applauded for all the delicate details.

Meanwhile, Olivia Pierson as Magik was a knockout in a black bodysuit paired with silver armour and a sword. Natalie Halcro as Selene showed off her incredible curves in a black bustier, which she paired with a blue cape and a blue wig.

Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes

The Riverdale trio, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes decided to co-ordinate the costumes with each other and donned the character of the famous film, Hocus Pocus. It’s centred around a villainous comedic trio of witches named Sarah, Winifred and Mary Sanderson.

Lili Reinhart is dressed as Sarah, Madelaine Petsch took on the role of Winifred and Camila Mendes aptly disguises herself as Mary. The film’s second installation was recently released and if the creators are looking for a new cast, then they can take some notes here.

Tyga

The American rapper’s Halloween outfit looks like the combination of the Joker with the Smile film. It also eerily resembles the Slipknot band outfit with blue and red hair braids. Apart from this Tyga was also seen wearing the ET outfit from the classic film of the same name, which can be seen on his Instagram.

His ET mask looks as real as it can get added with the hand gloves. It looks like what ET would have looked like if a GenZ, who is into hip hop music, found it in 2022 and the alien was a bit taller.

Halle Bailey

The upcoming Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey decided to go to the Way of Water route and donned the avatar costume. While it’s giving more of a mermaid look, if we weren’t exposed to the Avatar world, even for that world, her costume would be aptly called a mixed child of the Na’vi and a human.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

The celebrity couple has done it again by donning some questionable or controversial outfit, that might follow some backlash. Known for its daring looks, the couple decided to go a dark route with a gothic priest and Megan Fox in as a sultry slave. While their post comments are filled with outrage, they look badass nonetheless.

Prior to that, they donned another costume as Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. This look was highly appreciated by the fashion outlets and fans, who voted for the singer to never go blonde again.

Lizzo

Lizzo has been the cover girl for every article reporting on celebrity outfits and as one can see for themselves, she has accurately personified the Simpsons character. From the crazy hair to the perfect yellow skin, her outfit would score a 100, if there was a competition.

Chloe Bailey

The singer-songwriter has brought another X-Men character to the Halloween party, by dressing up as Storm. She is considered to be one of the most powerful mutants on the planet, and one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. Chloe perfectly embodies the character in the picture with some editing.

Latto

Latto, who has recently collaborated with Chole Bailey for the new song – For the Night, dressed up as Corpse Bride from Tim Burton’s 2005 stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film. While her eye makeup looks like a photoshopped edit, it actually is pretty real, which you can see on the last slide.
