Planning to Watch Hack My Home? Here’s What You Need to Know About the Home Renovation Series

The kind of shows that inspire any kind of relaxation are ones that show things getting better and not in the plot way, in an actual way. Like Hack My Home, which is a home renovation show. This kind of content is so satisfying to watch because things around people just continue to get better, and we just sit and watch them do all the important work. The space transforms into something brilliant, and the aestheticism is just enough for viewers to feel jealous about this in the first place.

This series definitely comes at a time when we’re looking for something wholesome, and the producers Anne Hill, Ross Breitenbach, Nicole Elliott, Ming Lee Howell and Christian Sarabia were probably aware of that. Rebecca Rosichan served as the casting supervisor on the show, bringing the expert who would make these homes pop. There will be eight episodes in this season, 30 minutes in duration, all dropping on Netflix at once.

Hack My Home Cast

The people who will be transforming the houses are Ati Williams, who will be working on the construction; Jessica L Banks, who will be handling the engineering of the house; Mikel Welch, who will be looking into the designing aspect of the job and Brooks Atwood, who will be working on innovating the houses for a better solution. All of these members will work together in order to provide the perfect house for the people living in it, ‘hacking’ their weaknesses into strengths.

Hack My Home Plot/Synopsis

The trailer shows these people going into houses from the pandemic era when kids were still at home, and the house space was essentially a big communal space where everything happened at the same time in the same place. Now that these people have arrived, their job is to not only make every space in the house functional for that purpose but make it functional for any purpose. Instead of keeping it low-key, these people want to help these families step out of the darkness completely.

Using modern technological advancement and innovation, these hosts build specific projects and design the space in such a way that it occupies the least amount of space and energy, which is where engineering and automation come in. Williams and Banks partner together and use their expertise to come up with and build these projects that will help the family in the long run, keeping everything together sustainably. The word ‘hack’ suggests that they don’t change any aspect of the home. They just use the elements from the space to create better solutions for the family in need.

  1. Hoping our story and home might be featured in Season 2 of ‘Hack My Home’ Not sure if this is the place to share our amazing story and our pleas to have our home hacked. Would appreciate a reply that will tell us how to proceed in becoming guests on the show? There is much to be said of our desire to transform our anti-functional basement area into a fabulously functional and inviting space for our transitioning family!
