Good Night World or Guddo Naito Wārudo (グッド・ナイト・ワールド) is an upcoming anime Series which will be premiering soon. It is based on the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Uru Okabe. Praised for its stunning art emotional story and touching premise, the anime also has a heartwarming plot. Its manga has been serialised in Monthly Comic Gene since 2018 and has amassed 10 volumes to date.

Originally made in Japanese, the series will also be released with, English, Arabic, French, Korean, German and more subtitles for international audiences. In addition to that, English, Portuguese, Spanish and more dubbed audio will also be available to make it more accessible to various viewers. Good Night World Plot/Synopsis

The plot of the series revolves around the Yagami family, whose lives are marred by unhappiness and dysfunction in the real world. Seeking refuge, they immerse themselves in the virtual realm of the online game, Planet. Each family member seeks solace within the game, utilizing it as a means of evading their real-life tribulations. Surprisingly, their interactions within Planet lead to the unexpected formation of a close-knit familial bond.

Unbeknownst to them, the avatars they’ve come to cherish in the game mirror their actual family members, with whom they struggle to connect in reality. The narrative navigates through their parallel lives in both the virtual and tangible worlds, chronicling their evolution as a family within the game juxtaposed with their trials in the real world. The series probes into intricate themes of family dynamics, individual identity, the allure of virtual reality, and the powerful pull of escapism, painting a poignant portrait of how alternate realities can impact and transform the complexities of family relationships.

The characters of the anime series are voiced by an ensemble of star-studded cast members, including Hirose Daisuke as Taichirou Arima, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Asuma Arima, Akio Ootsuka as Kojirou Arima, Aya Endou as Miyabi Arima, Ryouhei Kimura as Leon, and others. The series is directed by Katsuya Kikuchi and produced by Yasuo Suda.
