Golden Hour Music Video Teaser is now finally out, and the fans are ecstatic about it! NCT’s Mark has been gearing up for the release of his second solo song following Child, released in 2022. The single will premiere via SM Entertainment’s Station NCT Lab project, which is an archive of NCT’s music activities, including solo, unit and group songs. Artists get an opportunity to release self-composed and produced tracks.
In the short video, the artist appears in a new avatar where he is seen staring at a rock and smashing multiple raw eggs on it. A strong guitar tune plays in the background resembling the punk rock genre.
The clip opens with Mark, with blonde dye hair sitting in an enclosed space which appears to be an artistic work space. A rock is shown, which might hold significance to the song and the video as it is featured multiple times. The rapper is seen staring at the rock with an indifferent expression. He breaks many raw eggs onto the rock as a display of rage and misery. With a rustic brown jacket and neck accessories, he fits the role of an emo guy perfectly.
Soon after, the scene shifts to showing him in a different setting where he breaks out in freestyle dance moves along with a few others with large human-like masks covering their faces. In the last few seconds, the artist is seen standing in front of a wall that is covered with various posters and newspaper articles. He faces the wall and bends his head onto it. The video ends with an egg being broken by a hammer.
The rapper-singer is seen in a completely different light for his newest project. He showed off his sentimental side in his first solo song, and it appears he is taking a completely different route for his second solo song. The concept of the track might be indicating the artist’s brief interaction with Gordon Ramsay on Twitter over his failed attempt at cooking eggs; however, the entire meaning behind it will be revealed upon its release. Nevertheless, the fans will get to see a more intense and different side through his songwriting skills.
Apart from being a rising solo artist, Mark belongs to the popular K-pop boy band NCT. Moreover, he part of two sub-units under the band, NCT Dream and NCT 127. Besides rapping, the artist has an excellent command over singing, dancing and songwriting. He has also previously taken part in the composition of various group songs.
