Glitch Trailer Breakdown
The trailer begins with various characters on screens telling Hong Ji-hyo (Jeon Yeo-been) the sentence “I’m watching you”, followed by her spotting an alien in the middle of the streets that only she can see.
She then explains in the background that a strange phenomenon is occurring which makes people disappear after an error occurs in electronic devices. This is followed by us getting to know that her boyfriend has also disappeared from the earth just like many others.

Ten days later, she begins her search for her boyfriend, whom she thinks has been kidnapped. However, that is only until she notices Heo Bo-ra (Nana) with an alien sticker and is introduced to the UFO watchers community.
Bo-ra laughs at her for coming to them for help in finding her boyfriend instead of going to the police just because she saw the sticker. But even though Ji-hyo does not completely believe in aliens, she along with the Bo-ra and her friends begins their chase to find out the truth about the disappearing people.

Stopping people after believing they are the kidnappers, and finding their devices glitching, Ji-hyo soon believes that she is the only one who can see these aliens. Bo-ra, the believer, calls her an airhead who can see these aliens.
The chase continues and now they are all in search of these answers. As they find themselves entering a world of cults, followers and things that they’ve only heard, Ji-hyo and Bo-ra find themselves being chased by these people. And as they try to fight their way out, the former shouts that she only wants her boyfriend back.

A stream of scenes appears as they go along their quest of finding out the truth. And at last, get a chance to find the truth themselves as a bright light pulls them towards it. The trailer then ends with a comic scene of Ji-hyo performing weird signs as Bo-ra stands there confused by what she is doing.

The trailer really gets us intrigued because unlike other alien movies, this will take comedy and science fiction to the next level. The disappearing people and the reason why only Ji-hyo is able to see the aliens is a mystery that we want to know about soon.
The two are definitely going to form an exciting and entertaining friendship and we cannot wait for the release of this show!
So let’s look forward to Glitch which is set to release on October 7, 2022, on Netflix.
