Gina Carano Compares Herself to Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, Twitter Reacts

Gina Carano, who is well known for her roles in The Mandalorian and Deadpool, seems to be the talk of the town for every weird and unpleasant reason. She supported the In-And-Out’s refusal to follow public health laws during a time like this when the pandemic seems to look like never-ending warfare and also shared anti-vax views on Twitter which got her so close to being banned. Thus, given her history, it was not a surprise to see her take another rather unstrategic step to post on Twitter.

Gina Carano shared a meme comparing herself to The Joker, essentially the one played by Joaquin Phoenix in the 2019 film by the same name that invoked quite a controversy surrounding the violence the film depicted. The reaction from other Twitteratis has shown an emotional spectrum of an ocean as people are laughing as well as hating, all the same time.

Check Out Gina Carano’s Tweet & Subsequent Reactions

Gina does not hide how she feels The Joker’s character trope matches her own energy. And, given the destruction she creates on Twitter, the meme can be vouched as the ultimate truth. However, beyond her tweet, it is the reactions and replies that steal the show!

Given the role of Joker has always been associated with a cult-like fanbase and that is only more apparent through Gina’s raving comment section. People are relating, people are going crazy and yes if Joker was less fiction and more of a person in our world he could hear “the world getting crazier out there.”

Meanwhile, the Joker franchise might pick up on a sequel with Phoenix but nothing is confirmed yet. You can however stream the 2019 Joker film on Netflix.
