Who Locked Amira in the Storage Room?

Amira, an exceptionally bright student, consistently excelled in her academic endeavours, always securing the top position in her class. Despite facing relentless bullying from her peers, she managed to maintain her academic prowess, earning her the admiration of her teachers. On the other hand, Rana, the principal’s daughter and Amira’s best friend, grappled with a different set of challenges. Despite being a proficient student who consistently secured the second position, Rana faced relentless pressure from her mother. The principal’s expectation was for Rana to be the top student, given her privileged position as the principal’s daughter.

As fate would have it, before the fire broke out in the class, Amira realised that she had lost her math book, and in her quest to find it, she approached her teacher for the key to the storeroom. Unbeknownst to Amira, Rana, driven by a desire to see her friend miss an important class and potentially slip in rankings, discreetly followed her to the storeroom. Seizing the opportunity, Rana locked Amira inside, ensuring that she would be absent from the crucial class.

Rana’s motivation stemmed from a competitive drive fuelled by her mother’s expectations and the societal pressure associated with being the principal’s daughter. In her misguided attempt to secure the top position, Rana resorted to sabotaging her friend’s academic standing. Little did she realise the consequences of her actions as the intricate web of friendships and rivalries within the school community began to unravel.

What Caused the Fire?

The principal had a strong intuition from the outset that Rana was responsible for locking her daughter in the storeroom. However, in an attempt to shield both her own reputation and her daughter’s, she devised a cunning plan to divert attention. Recognizing that the Bully gang was an easy target due to their history of rule-breaking, she strategically manipulated the three members against each other. Playing on their existing records of bullying and rule violations, she sowed seeds of suspicion among them.

As the trio began searching for the culprit within their own ranks, they inadvertently incriminated themselves. All three were suspended, and Heba faced arrest after her two friends confessed that she might have locked Amira in the storeroom just before the fire broke out. However, Rana eventually realised the gravity of her mistake and decided to come clean. She approached the police and confessed to her wrongdoing, leading to her expulsion from the school principal position.

After the students left, the vice principal succumbed to the temptation and started smoking herself. Upon hearing a noise from the storeroom, she panicked, fearing someone would discover her transgression. In a hasty move, she threw the cigarette, inadvertently sparking the fire that unfolded. In the end, the complex web of deception and misdirection unravelled, exposing the true culprits and shedding light on the unexpected chain of events that led to the fire.
