Final Draft Review
If you, like me, are a fan of Netflix’s Physical: 100, then it’s time to enjoy another gruelling survival series that makes you question how far the human body is capable of going. Comprising some of the most talented and hard-working athletes from various sports, Final Draft is another engaging series that makes you stare in awe at some of the most intense challenges. I mean, within the first two episodes themselves, someone won by doing 500+ ab crunches, which is a feat I can’t even comprehend!
For non-athletes like me, this is a series that makes you question reality sometimes. For those who are into working out, this might be a show that challenges them to do better in their fitness goals. The series is fantastic as it is inspiring, as all of these people push their limits to achieve their goals.

The most interesting part of this series, which differentiates it from Physical: 100 is that these athletes are all either retired or have quit their athletic careers and are looking to start afresh or get back into the grind. It adds a layer of realism and relatability to the mix that will leave any viewer intrigued by how hard desire can push someone to achieve the impossible. While the challenges ask the contestants to push their physical prowess, it also challenges their mental prowess as well as everyone fights against someone who is at par with their abilities.

The mental part of the challenge is the most interesting, as you can simply witness the contestants pushing past their limits in every challenge in one way or another. Other than that, the format is mostly the same and features several challenges, and in between, the contestants get to enjoy some free time.
It’s interesting how some of the challenges and how they go about it are exactly the same or very similar to those of Physical: 100. It’s not a flaw, but if you’ve watched the South Korean show, then this will majorly stick out. That being said, that detail didn’t bother me much in the grand scheme of things, and the games are too intense not to be enamoured by them!
Final Thoughts

Final Draft, as with most shows in the genre, is very enjoyable and full of adrenaline. If you like sports reality shows, this one’s a safe bet and will entertain you as usual. The contestants are not just a wonder to watch, but are also very inspiring and will make you want to push forward in your pursuits. I am just not sure how the series differentiates itself from other similar shows.
