On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day 2023, the Fighter motion poster has unveiled a glimpse of what the next Siddharth Anand project is going to look like. The Pathaan director has yet again joined forces with Deepika Padukone in this new collaboration, which also marks Hrithik Roshan’s comeback to the big screen after his feature in 2022’s Vikram Medha.
Coming back to expand his illustrious filmography, this also marks Roshan’s next team up with Anand, following their work together in WAR (2019) and Bang Bang (2014). On August 14, 2023, both Roshan and Padukone, along with costar Anil Kapoor, aka the titular cast members of the Indian Hindi-language film teased the first look drop slated for August 15, raising the patriotic fervour by referring to it as the “Spirit of Fighter“.
Much like Anand’s contribution to the YRF Spy Universe (Tiger series, WAR and Pathaan) which is centred around fictional RAW agents, his new endeavour will also be expanded as part of India’s planned aerial action franchise. The Bollywood film’s lead actors also got the chance to come face to face with real life Indian Air Force cadets through this project.
With its screenplay penned by Ramon Chibb, cinematography by Satchith Paulose and music by Vishal-Sheykhar, the action flick also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh and others. The Fighter first look, released on the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day, offers a big and heartfelt salute to the nation and its fighters. The motion poster captures the leading trio in their glorious and proud strut as Air Force Officers with a musical grand score supporting the vision.
The heroic scene is further accentuated by a cinematic audio-re-imagination of the nation’s national song Vande Mataram backing the video. One can already anticipate that the film is going to pack a punch and blazing heat, and the end result will be something that will fill the audience with pride as well, just in time for next year’s Republic Day.

The Fighter movie is set to premiere in theatres on January 25, 2024.
