Fate The Winx Saga: Will the Netflix Dark Fantasy Drama Have a Third Season?

Fate The Winx Saga Season 3 is all anyone can think about right now. The second season of the Netflix dark fantasy series did not exactly take everyone by storm but, it was ambitious enough to keep us hooked till the end and now, a renewal seems to be something everyone and anyone is desperately wishing for.

Based on the fan-favourite Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club by Iginio Straffi, Fate The Winx Saga is produced by Archery Pictures in association with Rainbow. It is developed by Brian Young, who is also the showrunner and executive producer.

The extensive cast for Fate The Winx Saga includes Abigail Cowen as Bloom Peters, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra Harvey, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Danny Griffin as Sky, Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Eva Birthistle as Vanessa Peters, Robert James-Collier as Saul Silva, Eve Best as Farah Dowling and others. The second season of the show consists of seven episodes in total. Each episode has a runtime of 40-50 minutes.

When Will Fate The Winx Saga Seaosn 3 Release?

Well, as of now there has not been any word on the third season as the second season just came out. With that being said, the show is steadily becoming everyone’s guilty pleasure and is ranking as a trending series in most countries. Netflix has a knack for renewing fantasy drama series yet it is also a platform that cancels a show when it really seems to be getting a hold of itself. Thus, making a comment on the show’s future is a tricky business.

However, showrunner Brian Young has recently teased about the aim of Fate The Winx Saga Season 3 in during an interview saying how it is meant to focus on the Realm of Darkness and will also form a connection to the overall mythology. Now, with Bloom in the shadow world, a bunch of new characters introduced and a new threat already at Alfea, it kinda seems inevitable to not have a third season.

Along with Bloom’s origin story, Fate The Winx Saga Season 3 will be able to focus on Musa’s newfound Specialist world and maybe, a pending romance with Riven. Flora’s scars could lead to something much bigger and Aisha and Grey’s forbidden romance too. Stella might be able to uncover Beatrix’s sisters and possibly give a welcome to the introduction of the ‘Trix’ finally in the show.
