BTS Army’s adoration for its beloved Kpop band is omnipresent and the same is often reflected on Twitter with numerous hashtags trending on the timeline, today it’s all love for Jin. Ready to join the military on December 13, 2022, the first member of the group to be deployed shared his buzzcut look via his Weverse update a few hours ago, and the pandemonium broke loose with mixed emotions filling the atmosphere.
On one hand, fans couldn’t stop praising the eldest member of the group for how adorable he looked, yet a lingering sadness for the artist’s departure hung in the air. This month’s all been about him especially since it kicked off with him celebrating his birthday on December 4, 2022. A multitude of hashtags in either appreciation of him or as an expression of ARMY’s undying love for him rose on the platform and today is no different.

With The Astronaut singer preparing to be gone for his mandatory service for a prolonged period, the group’s fandom couldn’t help but chart a new trend to bid farewell to the loveable artist who’s done nothing but spread positivity with his music, and eccentric appeal and sense of humour in our lives.
Are you one of the ARMY too? Here are some of the tweets shared by the fans on the blue app while holding back their tears and sharing what they love about Seokjin to wish him a well and healthy time away during his service.
While we await his eventual return, let’s all promise to stream his solo endeavours to pull ourselves together. The Astronaut, Abyss, Tonight, Yours (OST) and Super Tuna are all available on Spotify, while some others like his remake of In Front of the Post Office in Autumn for the 2018 Festa anniversary can be found on the group’s Soundcloud profile.
