Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 2 Recap

Team Natsu explores Ermina, a coastal town in the continent of Guiltina. Ermina has a secret: its residents are intelligent fish who can take human forms. When Natsu’s group reveals their goal of sealing the Water Dragon God, the locals turn against them. Not only that, they become so hostile that Natsu and others have to hide themselves in the meantime.
Thankfully, Lucy was able to turn everyone into water body creatures and they managed to blend in with the others. Then they find out how the fishes have captured a human previously who came to hunt the water god and had bad intentions.
On the other hand, Touka, a seemingly innocent girl who joined the Fairy Tail guild, raises suspicion. Gajeel Redfox and Jellal Fernandez don’t trust her until they uncover the truth. Jellal even goes from guild to guild in search of her and warns them to stay away from her.
The episode dives deeper into the mystery surrounding Touka, hinting at a larger plot. As Jellal’s investigation continues, the tension within the guild rises.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Episode 3 Review And Recap

Fairy Tail really is as entertaining as ever. This episode starts with the conversation between our heroes and the water dragon God. When asked what their intentions are, Natsu directly claims that they will not attack Mercphobia if he is not a threat to humans. Mercphobia reveals that even though he is indeed not a threat to humans, he must be sealed because of separate reasons. To discuss things further, the water god invites Natsu’s crew to his temple.
There, everyone meets Karameel, a human that the water god saved a long time ago. She is definitely hostile towards Natsu and others because of their intention of harming Mercphobia. There is a proper reason behind everyone’s faith and love towards the water God. We are quickly shown that he is indeed a very good Lord who takes care of his subjects and even protects them from any harm possible.

However, the reason why he must be stopped is because there used to be a time when he would kill humans mercilessly. He changed only after saving Karameel and forming a bond with her. On top of that, his original powers have been stolen by someone else called the white mage. While he is discussing these things, everyone gets attacked by a new threat, the wizard guild Diabolos. We see the leader of the group as well, called Skullion, who just like his people, has become a dragon slayer by eating the dragons.
This is where things become fierce, and we see an intense battle happening between Natsu and his company and Diabolos and his followers. The action shown here is pretty good, and the choreography is also engaging. I love the animation, which is not too crazy, but at the same time, rather nice considering the previous seasons of Fairy Tail.

Verdict
I’m loving this sequel series, not just because of nostalgia but also because of the storyline. The trademark comedy is present in every episode, and the plot is also becoming entertaining. If you are still wondering whether you should watch this or not, then stop waiting and just watch.
