Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 1 Recap
The episode kicks off with new recruits joining the Guild, renowned as the strongest Guild ever. However, not all the newcomers are brave or talented enough, except for one woman, Touka. She closely resembles Juvia in her obsessive infatuation with Natsu, akin to a fangirl. On her first day, she clashes with Juvia due to their similar intense personalities.
Meanwhile, Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, Gray, Happy, and Carla are absent from the Guild, as they are on a crucial mission called the 100-Year Quest. This daunting mission was previously attempted by Guildarts, who failed to complete it, returning with severe injuries and missing body parts.

Upon reaching the guild that issued the quest, Natsu and his friends learn more about the mission. The guild, Magia Dragon, is the very first Guild ever established. Its Grand Master is an intriguing character who emphasizes the immense risks involved in the quest.
The first episode serves as a nostalgic journey, reminding fans of the series’ glory days. The animation quality is impressive, promising exciting action sequences ahead. The music also adds to the nostalgia, featuring the iconic Fairy Tail tune. While it’s too early to predict how the season will unfold plot-wise, the initial impression is promising and engaging for fans both old and new.
