Overview
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a Japanese manga series created by Hiro Mashima, with Atsuo Ueda handling the illustration. Serving as a sequel to Mashima’s earlier work, Fairy Tail, the manga debuted on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app in July 2018. Kodansha USA holds the license for its English release in North America. By April 2024, the series has been compiled into seventeen tankōbon volumes in Japan.

An anime television adaptation was revealed during the “Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting” livestream on September 11, 2021. This series will be produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Toshinori Watanabe, with Shinji Ishihira as the chief director.
The opening theme, “Story,” is performed by Da-ice, and the ending theme, “Tomo yo, Koko de Sayonara da” (“My Friend, We Say Our Farewells Here”), is performed by Boku ga Mitekatta Aozora. Crunchyroll has licensed the series for streaming, while Muse Communication has licensed it for Southeast Asia.

Plot

They are tasked with sealing the Five Dragon Gods, who are powerful dragons threatening global destruction. Meanwhile, Fairy Tail recruits Touka, a new member possessed by a witch seeking the dragons’ powers.
