Delusion follows Wan, played by Taew-Natapohn Phornprapha, a school teacher whose already complicated life gets thrown into absolute chaos when her father Narong, played by Surasak Chayaat, becomes the centre of suspicion over a child’s disappearance.
Narong is living with dementia, but in a community where an old supernatural legend is suddenly back in circulation, his illness gets tangled with something dark. As the villagers begin to hunt for someone to blame, the suspicion settles on Narong, whose worsening condition makes him impossible to defend and trust.

Phi is not simply a subject of campfire stories, but are an active part of Thai culture and belief system. From spirit houses to superstitions, phi interacts with the lives of Thai people on daily basis.”
Delusion Cast: Who Is In It?
At the centre of Delusion is Wan, played by Taew-Natapohn Phornprapha, who is a teacher, a daughter, and a woman already looking at the complicated reality of watching a parent grow older. Netflix describes her character as a provincial high school teacher who stands up and fights against the town’s rumour and proves that her father is only a sick man who needs care, not the monster the town has decided he is.
Pete is played by Jes-Jespipat Tilapornputt, who is a detective transferred from Bangkok; someone who believes only in what evidence can prove and what his own eyes can see. August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong plays Wat, Wan’s brother and the family’s youngest son.
