Delusion Korean Movie: Bae Suzy in Talks to Star as a Vampire in Highly Anticipated Mystery Thriller

This film is an adaptation of the popular webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga, promising a gripping narrative and visually stunning production.

Set against the rich historical backdrops of 1935 Gyeongseong (modern-day Seoul) and 1800s Shanghai, Delusion intertwines two distinct eras to tell its captivating story. The film will centre on the life of Yoon I-ho, a talented painter who finds himself drawn into a world of intrigue and danger. Yoon I-ho is commissioned to paint the portrait of Song Jeong-hwa, a mysterious and alluring vampire woman, a role that Suzy is currently considering. As he works on her portrait, Yoon becomes increasingly fascinated by her enigmatic presence, leading him down a path filled with supernatural elements and psychological twists.

The potential role of Song Jeong-hwa marks a significant departure for Suzy, who has consistently demonstrated her versatility across various genres. She is known for her performances in dramas like While You Were Sleeping, Vagabond, Doona!, StartUp, Wonderland and others,  Suzy’s possible portrayal of a vampire in Delusion is anticipated to be a career-defining role, showcasing her ability to delve into complex and dark characters.
