Entergalactic Trailer: Animated Kid Cudi Struggles to Keep Up With Love in NYC

Kid Cudi’s latest creative endeavor has birthed the soon approaching adult animated series Entergalactic, which will be exclusively available on Netflix this September. The show has a very peculiar animated visual which is reminiscent of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Leading with an exceptionally talented bunch, stars like Kid Cudi himself aka Scott Mescudi, Jessica Williams, Timothee Chalamet, Vanessa Hudgens, Laura Harrier, Christopher Abbott, Macaulay Culkin, Ty Dolla $ign, and more will be voicing the characters so seen in the trailer. And Kenny Barris is going to be the executive producer for the Netflix project.

The trailer presents the gist of the show real quick. Jabari (Mescudi) is now a bachelor since his ex-girlfriend Carmen (Harrier) is not in the picture anymore. Soon to follow is the welcome party of the new next-door neighbor Meadow (Williams), where the two meet, and well, sparks fly. However, adjusting to the standards of a new big city isn’t a glamorous ordeal, it’s painstakingly challenging.

On top of that, “meeting someone in the city is a big deal” but it’s ultimately up to the person if they make a “good big deal” out of it or not. It’s really easy to fall in love “by accident” but are most of us ready to dive into the real thing by purposefully heading in its direction?

Keeping all the complications aside, love is a strong emotion and it has the power to “save us all”. Now it’s up to Jabari and Meadow as to what they make of this newly found friendship in an otherwise claustrophobic city. Each one of us has our own galaxy to deal with but the big question is – are we ready to enter someone else’s galaxy and allow them to enter ours without any inhibitions getting in the way?

Kid Cudi is also releasing his new album – Entergalatic – on the same date.
