The introductory episode starts off slow and takes its time to tell us everything and set the scene. It gives us a suitable overview of the main characters, Prince, Bambi, and Amber. Bambi and Amber are siblings; meanwhile, Prince is her husband. Bambi and Prince are both special-ops soldiers. The newlywed couple is seen to be separated on the wedding night itself as the husband has to go into a high-risk rescue mission.

As the episode progresses, they are seen fighting off enemies on the high mountains. The use of high-tech technology, along with realistic weaponry, will keep the viewer hooked. They use the props and locations appropriately and precisely, making the situations they are in believable to the audience.

Amber, a brilliant scientist trying to find the cure for addiction, goes to the deepest forest of Colombia, but she is caught by the rebellious militia in the area over suspicions. The story then suddenly shifts into a more tense one, and it becomes an emergency rescue operation.

Bambi and Prince are seen as taking the front position to rescue their beloved from the dire situation. The plot in the second episode consistently remains tight. No time is wasted in nonsense filler scenes, and they immediately get to the point. The series’ main goal remains constant, which solidifies the storytelling process.

Furthermore, it is shown that things are way more complicated than it seems. The political forces at play create problems in the rescue mission as they refuse to take action. Prince and Bambi are seen taking the situation into their own hands and doing what is apt to save Amber.

The production value of the series is staggeringly high. From the locations where the series is filmed to the use of lifelike machine guns and military gadgets, the series is fresh and extravagant. The director makes complete use of the high-value production, which gives satisfactory results.

The lead actors, Michiel Huisman, Luke Evans, and Jessica Ann Collins, give wonderful performances. They remain committed to their roles throughout the episodes and deliver what the script demands. The supporting characters also do a commendable job which further elevates the plot of the series.

The use of Colombia’s native language, Spanish, is also a good choice. It helps the viewer understand the mindset of the people and get a closer look at how they function.
