The episode opens with Prince getting intimate with an unknown woman in his house, and momentarily after, he regrets his decision. Meanwhile, Bambi is still in Venezuela, hopeless and drunk, looking for a way to rescue his sister. But much to his surprise, Prince and Mitch suddenly appear in his yard with a plan.

Bambi refuses to tag along with them, but they drug him and take him away without his consent. For the next few days, Bambi is locked up in a room with his hands and feet tied up so he can get over his addiction. The method works well as Bambi is seen to be back to his original self.

Then the trio discuss the rescue plan, which is to abduct the brother, a DJ, of a Venezuelan minister who is also the one running the underground drug rig Amber is currently locked up in. The next day, the three start following the DJ to capture him. But the plan fails as they are met with obstacles and decide to regroup the following day.

For the sound-checking process before a performance, the DJ will be at a soccer stadium, where the team plans to abduct him again. Everything was going according to the main objective, but suddenly due to some unlikely events, they were met with hindrance. Ultimately after much difficulty, they were able to apprehend the DJ successfully.

In the last few minutes of the episode, Mitch is seen going into the minister’s office for a meeting. Then he informs about the abduction and proposes a fair trade which guarantees Amber’s freedom. The episode then proceeds to end with a cliffhanger.

Echo 3 Episode 6 Review

Echo 3 has yet to disappoint me as a viewer. Each episode has consistently lived up to my expectations. What I most admire about the series is its no-nonsense policy and lack of filler scenes. The plot develops steadily, keeping the viewer engaged and asking for more.

The high production value also helps with the storytelling process. The locations and the background score do give each episode more depth. The usage of the native language of Venezuela, Spanish, in the series also elevates the narrative process. The display of high-technology devices and including them in the action plan will grab the audience’s attention.

But after 6 episodes, with no progress in the rescue mission, it does feel like the story is going on a loop. It is expected that we will get to see more exciting things next Friday.
