Netflix’s Norwegian series- A Storm for Christmas is finally here to bring an entertaining yet heartfelt experience as fate works its magic and helps passengers reach a destination which was out of their expectations.

The show brought in a sweet and slow rhythm that showed us the type of people who could meet at the airport if given the time, and while the situation does give them the time in this show, the result of it all turns out to be unexpected yet sweet.

Beginning with problems and ending with bittersweet solutions is what this show brought and it was a pleasure to see the outcome that the characters had after spending more than 20 hours at the airport. So from snobbish rich ladies to party pooper pilots, hardworking airport staff, to many more, you witness them coming to a pause and having no choice but to spend time together.

The show has brought in the holiday magic in a simple yet troublesome situation and that is one of those things that I have loved about this series. On the other hand, the emotions of these characters that have been portrayed so well by the actors are also a pleasure to watch.

And finally, looking at the mood change from frustration to peace is lovely and not one to miss.

Summing Up: A Storm for Christmas

A Storm for Christmas brings in a bittersweet feel, and while it leaves you with a smile, the show is a drag at the beginning as we see the characters being introduced. Get through that and you will find yourself being drawn to the show as the lives of the many intrigues you and show you the true holiday spirit that we sometimes forget about.

The show has brought the Christmas spirit to us without a tree, presents, or carols, and with a Santa who is couldn’t have been more done with everything; and this is what makes this show a good watch.

  1. A storm for Christmas creates a complex character study and probes a philosophical depth of theme. The script is brilliant with lots of pauses that are full of thoughtful energy .All actors are amazing in their emotional depth. The juxtaposition of scenes and Christmas songs playing in the airport create funny ironies.
A million people stuck in an airport are thwarted in their expectations for Christmas destinations but rewarded in their discoveries of their own changes of course as they confront themselves.
This series is way beyond the usual formulaic junk
It is funny at times provocative and thoughtful .
I loved it and could recommend it to intelligent viewers!
