While in the trailer that was released last year, we got to meet our characters and the overall video had an epic adventure feel to it. In the newly released trailer, we get some more visuals from the film and get to know the dynamics among the group of characters. The two-minute and 30 seconds video starts off with Edgin (Pine) and Holga (Rodriguez) about to be executed by some soldiers but saved at a close distance by Holga, while Edgin tries to get himself free.
Then we see similar visuals of how the thieves helped the wrong person and unleashed the greatest evil the world has ever known – The Red Wizard. The red wizards are a powerful group of magic users that wish to turn the Forgotten Realms into a place where the undead will rule the realms. As Xenk the Paladin shares how they have created an army of the undead.
From fighting various creatures to dragons and wizards, the thieves will essentially become the hero who will save the world. The trailer tells us more about the characters and how they all have their own journey, which will intertwine with each other, for good.
