Dubai Bling Twitter Reactions: Viewers Roll their Eyes At Materialistic Drama; Calls Lojain Omran the Genuine One

Dubai Bling is the latest reality TV series released on Netflix. It’s a spin-off series of the Bling Empire, whose third season premiered recently. In the series, we get up close and personal with the diverse mix of 10 self-made millionaires starring in the new Arabic docu-soap.

The predominantly Arab group of friends is a combination of well-known figures from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and Iraq plus ex-pats from India and Australia, who all call Dubai home. The people featured are Loujain Adada, aka LJ, DJ Bliss, Danya Mohammed, Brianna Fade, Kris Fade, Farhana Bodi, Zeina Khoury, Lojain Omran, Ebraheem Al Samadi, Safa Siddiqui, Fahad and others.

The official synopsis of the series reads, “Step off the private jet and into a high-flying social circle in Dubai, where lavish parties, stunning skylines and jaw-dropping fashion are the norm.” Set against the backdrop of luxury cars, runway-fresh fashion, exotic resorts and exclusive access to the city’s most popular restaurants and late-night hotspots, we follow the cast in their daily lives.

No matter what people say, we all are addicted to trashy reality drama series like Dubai Bling and ever since it’s released, many have even binge-watched it in one go. The show gave the viewers the first look into rich people’s problems when a cast member, Safa Siddiqui, threw away her husband’s clothes out of the closet due to lack of space and her solution was to buy a bigger home right away.

Moreover, we see Zeina trying to keep the social circle together, while Kris Fade’s fast-approaching wedding to Brianna Ramirez tests their relationship. And the brutal honesty of Ebraheem Al Samadi set off a chain of events that no one saw coming. The biggest mystery of the show is, whether you really need just $300 to become a millionaire in Dubai.

Well, we don’t really know if mere $300 dollars would confirm a ticket to the riches, but it does make us question – do bigger personalities really instigate bigger drama. The majority of the UAE viewers are calling the show, what the Real Housewives of Dubai, should have been like and asking for more seasons of the show soon.

I love films, except maybe horror films.

  1. I enjoyed the show. Ebreeham is my favorite. I just wish they would speak more in English, since it is the dominant language. Safa, is my least favorite. I don’t think she really love her husband. Haven’t been together long enough, plus she’s all about the money!!
