Focus Features has a new banger dropping this year, and the Drive Away Dolls trailer shares just how unhinged this film can get. Directed by Ethan Coen, he also joins the crew as a writer along with Tricia Cooke. It stars Pedro Pascal, Margaret Qualley, Matt Damon, Geraldine Vishwanathan, Colman Domingo, Beanie Feldstein, Joey Slotnick, Annie Gonzalez, Bill Camp, Daniel Johnson and other cast members. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Robert Graf and the co-writers of this movie are producing this film, while Ari Wegner serves as the cinematographer.

The film follows these two women who try to escape the mundanity of their lives by going on a road trip to Florida. However, when a mysterious man and his package go missing, their stories intertwine into a large misunderstanding. After seeing no end to her life, Jamie tries to take control of the narrative on this road trip. While they go out and rent a car to Tallahassee, a man assigns them a car that is supposed to go to someone carrying precious cargo.
When the guys who are actually supposed to carry the cargo to Florida come by the car rental, they are horrified to know that two women took their things and left for the town. Fortunately, it is only bad if they open the trunk and see what’s inside it, but considering cinematic irony, that is exactly what happens. Honestly, it is on the people who stole the case to at least change the combination of the lock on it. Truly maddening. When they open to see the case, it reveals something we don’t get to see.

The people who actually needed to take the briefcase are now on the case to find it in the first place. They are stunned into submission by their bosses and knock the doors of anyone who might know who these two ladies are. Instead of actually finding anyone, they get pepper-sprayed in the face. Instead of doing something responsible with the case Jamie and Marion take their chances and try to solve this case by themself. To see what happens next, check out the trailer.
