Dr Stone Season 3 Part 2 Episode 2 Preview: Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.
The opening theme is Haruka (遥か) performed by Ryujin Kiyoshi while the ending theme is Suki ni Shinayo (好きにしなよ) performed by Anly for Dr Stone New World Cour 2. From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Dr Stone: New World Part 2 will cover the “New World” arc from the manga series. The story continues to follow Senku, who manages to create the Nitric acid again with the help of platinum. The acid is the only way to free the world from the stone age. However, during his journey, he also finds out the source of the green light that is responsible for the petrification. Will Senku be able to save the world with the help of science?

The main character of the story is Senku, a brilliant scientist. Citizens of the Kingdom of Science include Kohaku, Chrome, Kinro, Ginro, Suika, Gen Asagiri, Kaseki, Magma, and more. Senku’s old friends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa have also joined the cast. Characters from Empire of Might include Tsukasa, Ukyo Saionji, Minami Hokutozai, Yo Uei and more. Ryusui Nanami is the latest addition to the team, who is an expert sailor.

In the next episode, Senku along with the help of Ryusui and Saseki will build instruments to free the rest of the crew from the stone form. Moreover, they are about to wage war on the petrification kingdom so they can bring back the world to its original form.

In the previous episode, Senku with the help of the platinum is able to create the Nitric acid. However, he needs Saseki to create more complicated machines because of his expert skills. But the petrification kingdom throws away all the stone figures into the river. Since there was no way out, Senku brought back Ryusui. Instantly Ryusui dives deep into the sea but Saseki’s stone figure is stuck at the ocean’s bed. So Ryusui decides to free Taiju so that he can help bring up Saseki’s stone statue. They bring up Saseki and the episode ends on that note.
