Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.
From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

The main character of the story is Senku, a brilliant scientist. Citizens of the Kingdom of Science include Kohaku, Chrome, Kinro, Ginro, Suika, Gen Asagiri, Kaseki, Magma, and more. Senku’s old friends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa have also joined the cast. Characters from Empire of Might include Tsukasa, Ukyo Saionji, Minami Hokutozai, Yo Uei and more. Ryusui Nanami is the latest addition to the team, who is an expert sailor.

As the group continued to build their ship, some problems raised. However, they were quickly solved by Senku’s brilliant mind, along with the help of the villagers. Moreover, Ryusui takes charge of the ship and promises to sail it across the destination while keeping everyone onboard safe. He also took the responsibility of choosing eligible people to join him for the trip who will prove to be useful. Among them, the prominent members who were constantly working towards the journey were selected.
