Doom Patrol Season 4 Teaser: Newly Bred Musical Creatures Await the Squad

Christmas comes early with HBO Max, as Doom Patrol Season 4 is finally making its long-awaited return in the first week of December. A new trailer for the first part of the fourth season has been released by HBO and is warning us all to “hold onto (our) butts”. The series still continues to be one of the most underrated pieces of television yet, and its loyal fans are tired of asking the world to pay more attention to the Doom squad.

The show picks up on offbeat and outlandish DC Universe characters that have rather never seen the light of mainstream movie representation. Fans have come to love the murderously entertaining take on trauma that pulls you into a riotous journey. There’s no standing in-between when it comes to this DC comics adaptation. You either love it to bits or you’re blissfully unaware of its existence, and sadly, the latter happens to be the majority.

Doom Patrol Season 4

During the last outing of the show, we witnessed the team lay their hands on a time machine and so follows the synopsis of the upcoming season as well:

In the upcoming fourth season, the team unexpectedly travels to the future to find an unwelcome surprise. Faced with their imminent demise, the Doom Patrol must decide once and for all which is more important: their own happiness or the fate of the world?

Doom Patrol Season 4

Despite a smaller fanbase and viewership, the series has somehow survived it all and prevented itself from getting slashed off the platform. Hopefully, some new fans’ interest will be piqued with the announcement of the new season so that we can finally enjoy a well-established secure foundation for the future of the show.

The fourth installment was picked up in 2021 and has been developed by Jeremy Carver. Starring Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr or Elasti-Woman, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor or Negative Man, Joivan Wade as Victor “Vic” Stone or Cyborg, Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge, and more are finally coming to town in musical style.
