While wedding bells are on the horizon for Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson, the nitty gritty details of where and when are still being decided. Sources close to the couple confirmed to Page Six that while no official date has yet been fixed, the couple is planning to tie the knot within a few months. As one insider said, “Invitations have not gone out, but they are preparing things now.”
Conversations regarding the wedding were one of the key topics last weekend at Mar-a-Lago, where Anderson’s bridal shower was held. Themed “Enchanted Garden,” the luncheon drew roughly 85 guests to the Palm Beach estate’s main ballroom. Invitees included Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Marla Maples. Kai Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s daughter with his ex-wife Vanessa, also made an appearance. Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wynn, and Fox News anchor Brett Baier’s wife Amy rounded out a star-studded room.
Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss hosted the afternoon affair. Donald Trump Jr. surprised the room by arriving with a bouquet of roses and stepping up to toast his bride-to-be. Talking about her and their relationship, he said, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina. She is smart, loving, and caring.”
As for the wedding itself, the couple is apparently weighing two very different options. One path involves them quietly eloping next month with a larger celebration scheduled later. The second path consists of a small, low-key ceremony at which only close family would be invited. If they plan to go ahead with the second option, the ceremony is expected to take place within a month or two.
While there were previously speculations of the wedding ceremony taking place at the White House, insiders have now revealed that no such possibility seems likely now. However, the chance of marking the occasion at the presidential venue is still on the cards.
Regardless of the way that the couple decides to go about the wedding, it is expected to be a celebratory affair, as an insider revealed that Don Jr. seems extremely happy with Anderson, adding, “I’ve never seen him this genuinely happy.”
Don Jr. and Anderson got engaged in December 2025 at Camp David, where he popped the question on her birthday. The engagement was later announced by President Trump at a White House holiday party. The couple had been dating for roughly a year before that, and their relationship went public while Don Jr.’s long engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle quietly dissolved. Guilfoyle was named ambassador to Greece the very day the photos of the new couple surfaced.
Don Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018, and the two have five children together. This would be his second marriage. Anderson, the daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson, is entering her first marriage after previously being engaged to chewing gum heir Beau Wrigley.
