Doctor Slump (닥터슬럼프) is a new Korean medical rom-com that tells the story of two intelligent individuals who have been rivals throughout their school days. However, they will soon face each other again when they find each other at their worst moment and decide to become a place of comfort for each other.
Directed by Oh Hyun-jong, the drama stars Park Shin-hye, Park Hyung-sik, Yoon Park, Kong Seong-ha, Jang Hye-jin, and Hyun Bong-sik, alongside other cast members. Doctor Slump takes over the JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 22:30 time slot previously occupied by Welcome to Samdal-ri.

Doctor Slump Episode 9 Recap
Jeong-woo moves to a new temporary place near his workplace while Ha-neul’s family understands that something has happened between the two. Later, Ha-neul and Jeong-woo take their friends to accompany them for a drink and Dae-young blames himself for Jeong-woo’s break up as he was the one who asked Hong-ran to ask for Ha-enul’s help.
The next day, Jeong-woo begins work while Ha-neul is sent on a blind date by Wol-seon who doesn’t tell her that it is a blind date. This angers Ha-neul as the man insults her for being a failure. Ha-neul confronts Wol-seon about the same and asks if she is embarrassed because of her. Wol-seon is saddened by this while Tae-seon goes to comfort Ha-neul.
He then tricks Ha-neul and Wol-seon into talking to each other with Ba-da’s help. Wol-seon apologises for what she did and hands over the bank account book that her father had prepared for her. Ha-neul is surprised when Wol-seong tells her that she to not feel guilty about her father’s death and to live her life enjoying doing what she wants to.
Wol-seon tells her how proud she has been of Ha-neul all her life and soon the two finally make up. Later, Wol-seon talks about Jeong-woo and how he is a gem who has been in a way helping her by taking care of Ha-neul in a way only he can. Meanwhile, Jeong-woo finds out about Ha-neul’s blind date and later sees Ha-neul having fun with her family.
The next day, Ha-neul is surprised to see him on her rooftop after having sent a message the previous night. Jeong-woo tells her that he will wait for her until she is ready to come to him before leaving. Later, he arrives at the clinic filled with clients waiting for him to perform his magic.
However, Jeong-woo soon discovers that his anxiety sparks up when he comes around anything that reminds him of the incident. News of his PTSD spreads around the clinic and reaches Hong-ran’s ears who asks Ha-neul about the same. The next day, Jeong-woo prepares himself for another surgery and is soon surprised when he sees Ha-neul there to assist him.

Ha-neul takes a step towards Jeong-woo but this time he is the one backing away after seeing how his PTSD is affecting his life. Later, he finds out about Kyung-min’s deeds and rushes to get justice for Ha-neul. Soon, Jeong-woo’s relationship with Ha-neul sees a new light as the two get closer and decide to get out of their slump together.

The series will stream from January 27, 2024, to March 17, 2024. Episode 10 of the series will stream on February 25 at 10:30 PM KST (8:30 PM IST).
