South Korean girl group NewJeans is back with Ditto Music Video today, which they had been teasing for a long time. The song is included in their first single album OMG, which is scheduled to release next year. Ditto premiered as a pre-release single on December 19, 2022, for their upcoming album. The girl group is under Hybe Entertainment which also produces music for other groups like BTS, ENHYPEN, Tomorrow x Together etc.
There are two music videos for the new track, Ditto Side A and Ditto Side B. Both videos are similar, but Side A is a longer version with an extensive introduction which gives us a deeper look at what the song is trying to express. The first few minutes show us how the girls are dancing and leading a carefree life. One of the teens is also seen developing a new crush on her schoolmate. Side B does not have an introduction and only consists of the main song.
Wooseok Shin directs the music video, and Min Hee-jin produces the track.

The music video also shows a girl who is only seen recording her friends and hiding behind the camera. The members include an intricate choreography with a unique hook step bound to become viral again. The song also has a sweet melody which will make everyone sing along.
The song’s lyrics talk about falling in love and expressing how she has “nothing to lose”. It questions whether the other person loves her back and is ready to give his all. It is a timeless romantic song which can also be relatable to people from every generation.
Previously, the girl group released an EP called New Jeans, which consists of songs like Attention, Hype boy, Cookie and Hurt. Hype Boy became one of the most viral K-pop tracks of 2022, and fans and the industry alike have given it immense love. The newly debuted group has achieved unreachable success and has been unstoppable since.
The new track is also getting a lot of attention and positive feedback. It reached nearly 100k unique listeners on Melon within the first two hours. The music video is already closer to 1 million views on Youtube. It became the fastest song by a girl group to reach #1 on Melon Top 100.
