Disney+ January 2022 Releases: Eternals, The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild and More

With the arrival of the new year, Disney+ did not hold back when it came to shower us with an impeccable lineup for the year 2022. Focusing essentially on the releases that take place in January, the streaming platform revealed what we would get to see. In the previous year, the OTT giant has given us some much anticipated Marvel releases starting from What If to Hawkeye and comedic pieces like Only Murders in the Building to emotionally triggering ones like Scenes from a Marriage.

The new year bells have gotten us excited for the January releases for 2022. Let us have a look at them!

What is coming out in January 2022 in Disney+ ?

Movies & Specials

Marvel’s Eternals by Academy award-winning director Chloé Zhao was released in November 2021 in theatres. The film is finally coming to everyone’s home through Disney+ on January 12, 2022. MCU fans also have Marvel Studios ASSEMBLED: The Making of Hawkeye to enjoy. Alongside our favourite Marvel releases also comes the nostalgia for childhood with a new story- The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild releases on January 28, 2022. The other movies and specials on the platform include the Like Mike series and Betty White Goes Wild.

Series & Shorts

From the Star Wars franchise, The Book of Boba Fett Chapters 2-5 will premiere in January 2022. The first chapter was released on December 29, 2021. You can check out our review for the same, here. Meanwhile, T.O.T.S. Season 3, consisting of 13 episodes, will premiere on January 12, 2022.

Other series such as Vets on the Beach (seasons 1 & 2), Called to the Wild Season 1, Dr Oakley, Yukon Vet, Pop Goes the Vet with Dr Joya Season 1 and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir and shorts such as Random Rings (seasons 1 & 2) will also be available from January 2022.
