Destined With You Episode 6 Preview: The fantasy romance drama series (이 연애는 불가항력) stars Rowoon, Jo Bo-ah, Ha Jun, and Yura in lead roles. The show has been written by Noh Ji-sul and directed by Nam Ki-hoon, who previously worked on Oh My Baby (2020) and Kiss Sixth Sense (2022).
The drama revolves around Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and an ace lawyer, Jang Shin-yu who end up meeting unexpectedly. After she comes in the procession of an old wooden box with a forbidden book, the connection between the two grows stronger. It is discovered that Shin-yu suffers from a mysterious illness that has run throughout his family for generations and the cure to it is in the hands of Hong-jo. The magical book which may be the cure brings the two closer and a romance brews between them.
Jo Bo-ah returns with this drama after recently starring in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 as Nam Ji-ah. SF9’s Rowoon was last seen in 2022’s Tomorrow as Choi Joon-woong. Ha Jun previously starred in Missing: The Other Side Season 2 as Shin Joon while Yura’s previous role was in Forecasting Love and Weather as Chae Yoo-jin. New episodes of Destined With You arrive on JTBC on Wednesday-Thursday at 10.30 PM. Previously, the same timeslot was occupied by Miraculous Brothers.

Destined With You Episode 6 Predictions
Since Shin-yu leans in for a kiss, there are two possibilities. If the kiss happens, the couple will move forward and spend the night together. If not, Hong-jo will take Shin-yu to his home and tuck him into his bed. She will surely be annoyed by the drunk Shin-yu as he will be messy. The next day when they meet, things will be awkward. Na-yeon will start telling people that Shin-yu is her fiance and it will likely hurt Hong-jo.
Meanwhile, Jae-kyung will also tell Hong-jo that he has started to like her. The love triangle will put Hong-jo in a tough situation. Slowly, Shin-yu will realise that irrespective of the love potion, his heart likes Hong-jo. When he confesses his love for her and shows his true feelings, Hong-jo will have to choose between the man she wants and the man she is destined to.
Destined With You Episode 5 Recap
In the fifth episode, Hong-jo and Shin-yu commemorate the death anniversary of Hong-jo’s father. When Hong-jo gets drunk, she learns that Shin-yu has found out the secret about their destinies tied together. They decide to go against their destiny and break it off. On their way back home, Hong-jo lies down on Shin-yu’s shoulder and starts talking unconsciously. She reveals the story of her father’s death.
The next day, Hong-jo receives a call in her office regarding Mount Onju covered in blood. When she and the other officials visit they see sign stands covered in blood. They assume it is of a chicken and some pranksters would have caused it. Shin-yu as usual nags Hong-jo and tests her. He also feels sad that he is running behind Hong-jo while being engaged to Na-yeon.
Jae-kyung and Hong-jo have dinner together and they both enjoy each other’s company. To forget Hong-jo, Shin-yu drinks for the first time with his friend Wook. That night, Shin-yu comes to Hong-jo’s home drunk. When they both have a conversation, Jae-kyung returns from his office and warns Shin-yu to leave and that it is not good to two-timing people.
Since Hong-jo believes that it is all her fault, she decides to drive Shin-yu back home. During the ride, Shin-yu feels sick and so they stop nearby. It is here when they have an intense conversation, and Shin-yu leans in for a kiss. The episode ends with a cliffhanger and we will soon find out whether the couple shared a kiss or not.
