Destined With You Episode 15 Recap
Hong-jo goes to Shin-yu’s place and they both spend the night together. In the morning, when Shin-yu’s parents unexpectedly come, Hong-jo gets yelled at by his father for her acts when his son was hospitalised. Though Shin-yu’s mother supports his son’s relationship, his father immediately shuns the couple. Hong-jo affirms that she won’t let him go anymore and returns home. At his place, when Shin-yu’s parents argue about Hong-jo, Shin-yu’s father puts his wife down, ultimately leading them to speak about divorce.
Hong-jo returns home and meets Jae-kyung. To her surprise, her landlady also is there to check up on her. When the three have a conversation, Shin-yu enters and introduces himself as Hong-jo’s boyfriend to which the landlady says that he’s too tall and handsome to be a boyfriend (hinting at marriage). Hong-jo and Shin-yu then leave to spend the afternoon together. They speak about their first kiss and their relationship.
The following day when Hong-jo joins at work after her leave, she hears the news of her senior staff dating. At Shin-yu’s office, his assistant hugs him tightly as he has missed his big man. Just then, Jae-kyung comes and says that the mayor has asked Shin-yu to quit work and leave. Shin-yu and Jae-kyung have a sarcastic argument before the latter leaves with a reminder.

Meanwhile, Wook presents Shin-yu’s father with the divorce papers filed by his wife. At first Shin-yu’s father gets pressed but soon realises that this time his wife’s decision is serious. Shin-yu learns about the decision from his mother and asks her to live her life the way she wants. At a private restaurant, Jae-kyung meets Hyeon-seo who tries to persuade the former to cheat the mayor.
The next day, Hyeon-seo visits Shin-yu in his office and taunts him and Hong-jo, earning his anger. He also mentions that the Onju mount is now in his control as his ally is someone stronger. Jae-kyung comes across Shin-yu rummaging his desk and the latter asks whether he is the ally that Hyeon-seo mentioned. Jae-kyung answers his question in a way it looks like he is the one backing the bad guy but we’re yet to know the truth.
Shin-yu and Hong-jo meet his mother at a restaurant along with Wook. The four of them spend a wonderful evening before they split up. After Shin-yu leaves with Hong-jo, Wook asks Shin-yu’s mother whether she is fine with the divorce given the situation. She learns about her husband’s company at stake and returns home. Over there, she finds her husband drunk and gives him a smack. The drunk man hugs her and asks her to not leave. Shin-yu’s mother says she hates him but embraces him back.

Hong-jo joins Nayeon and her friends the following morning to mock the former. At the table, the ex-boyfriend of Nayeon is also present and it is here Hong-jo reveals how Nayeon forced her ex to kiss her so she could take a video and traumatise her. The young man hesitates to open his mouth and accept the truth but that doesn’t stop Hong-jo. She taunts Nayeon so badly that the rude woman pours wine over Hong-jo. However, Hong-jo doesn’t bother and walks away after giving a short threat. She even records the abusive words of Nayeon.
Hong-jo then meets Shin-yu in front of his house and she tells him about her new experience with Nayeon. Since her shirt is stained, Shin-yu gives her his shirt for her to wear. After seeing her wearing his shirt, Shin-yu makes his move and kisses her. The couple make love and sleep the night away. In the morning, the Shaman calls Shin-yu and he picks it up only to hear that in her dream she learned that they both will have a daughter. Shin-yu wonders about it and cuddles Hong-jo.
Later that day, Hong-jo meets with Mr. Lee, the old man she’s familiar with. Previously, we see Mr. Lee being approached by Mr. Na. Trusting Mr. Lee, Hong-jo asks the bodyguards to leave. Then after a while, the guards inform Shin-yu that Hong-jo is missing. The episode ends with Mr. Na in a cave with all items set for a ritual. Hong-jo is seen lying on the ground unconsciously.

Destined With You Episode 15 Review
The return of Na and his final try at harming Hong-jo was expected. Apart from the villain’s uninvited entry, this episode has become one of those that flutters people’s hearts. So many smooch scenes and woo-hoo moment marks Rowoon’s new era. Who would have thought he’d give his all for the love-making scene? It was super decent as well as absolutely worth eye-closing.
We just have one more episode to go where Na will be found and punished. Of course, Hong-jo will be in serious danger but she will be saved. The couple will unite and mostly end up marrying each other. Let’s hope the series’ end will give the warm fairytale ending as it should. Speaking of Jae-kyung, he’ll be smiling at them as he knows he messed up in the beginning. He’ll be genuinely happy though.
