Destined With You Episode 13 Preview: The fantasy romance drama series (이 연애는 불가항력) stars Rowoon, Jo Bo-ah, Ha Jun, and Yura in lead roles. The show has been written by Noh Ji-sul and directed by Nam Ki-hoon, who previously worked on Oh My Baby (2020) and Kiss Sixth Sense (2022).
The drama revolves around Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and an ace lawyer, Jang Shin-yu who end up meeting unexpectedly. After she comes in the procession of an old wooden box with a forbidden book, the connection between the two grows stronger. It is discovered that Shin-yu suffers from a mysterious illness that has run throughout his family for generations and the cure to it is in the hands of Hong-jo. The magical book which may be the cure brings the two closer and a romance brews between them.
Jo Bo-ah returns with this drama after recently starring in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 as Nam Ji-ah. SF9’s Rowoon was last seen in 2022’s Tomorrow as Choi Joon-woong. Ha Jun previously starred in Missing: The Other Side Season 2 as Shin Joon while Yura’s previous role was in Forecasting Love and Weather as Chae Yoo-jin. New episodes of Destined With You arrive on JTBC on Wednesday-Thursday at 10.30 PM. Previously, the same timeslot was occupied by Miraculous Brothers.

Destined With You Episode 13 Predictions
In the upcoming episode, Hong-jo and Shin-yu will split up due to their past. Hong-jo will leave him for his sake as she doesn’t want him to suffer with the hallucinations. Shin-yu will pursue her as he believes it’s impossible for them to stay apart. Amidst their breakup, there are chances of Jae-kyung giving his shot at Hong-jo by being beside her. He won’t have much hopes but will ensure he is beside her to give her the needed comfort.
Meanwhile, Jang-beom will be on the loose trying to capture Hong-jo. His actions will become more vicious causing both Shin-yu and Hong-jo major impact. More insight about their past life will be provided to know why Shin-yu killed Hong-jo, the woman he fell in love with. Nayeon will also keep coming at them two in their present life to avenge her feelings.
Destined With You Episode 12 Recap
Shin-yu rushes to Mount Onju when he discovers that Hong-jo has gone there to investigate a pit. Realizing the danger, he subtly informs Jang-beom about the skeleton found in the park, preventing him from harming Hong-jo. At the mountain, Shin-yu finds Hong-jo and has an eerie encounter with her when she mentions a shared dream from their past life. He puts her to sleep and leaves without revealing the truth about their haunting connection.
The next day, news of Jang-beom’s discovery goes viral, overshadowing Hong-jo’s scandal. She investigates a grocery store’s CCTV footage and learns that Jang-beom was nearby during her pit inspection. At Jang-beom’s garden, Shin-yu and Hong-jo meet and leave together, unaware that they are being watched by Jang-beom through surveillance cameras.
Later, Shin-yu collapses in an elevator due to his hallucinations and is admitted to the hospital. He insists that Hong-jo leave, not wanting her to witness his condition. The following day, they share a sweet moment at Shin-yu’s office. However, things take a turn when Shin-yu is pressured by his father and the mayor to marry Nayeon. In a surprising twist, Shin-yu confronts Nayeon with evidence of her infidelity and leaves her with the other man she cheated with.
Meanwhile, Hong-jo meets with Jae-kyung’s father, and tensions arise when his father reveals his financial troubles and the need for 30 million won. Nayeon manipulates her father to transfer a significant deal from Shin-yu to another person, causing further turmoil in the City Hall.
During a team dinner, Hong-jo shares her story with colleagues who find it hard to believe. She later visits Shin-yu’s place, and after a night of drinking, she wakes up with a disturbing vision from their past life. Hong-jo abruptly leaves, leaving Shin-yu bewildered. Eventually, they arrange to meet at a snowy location where they both confess the truth about their past life. Apparently, Shin-yu is the one who killed Hong-jo, and since anyone who harms her will be cursed, he is now experiencing hallucinations.
