Destined With You Episode 12 Preview: The fantasy romance drama series (이 연애는 불가항력) stars Rowoon, Jo Bo-ah, Ha Jun, and Yura in lead roles. The show has been written by Noh Ji-sul and directed by Nam Ki-hoon, who previously worked on Oh My Baby (2020) and Kiss Sixth Sense (2022).

The drama revolves around Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and an ace lawyer, Jang Shin-yu who end up meeting unexpectedly. After she comes in the procession of an old wooden box with a forbidden book, the connection between the two grows stronger. It is discovered that Shin-yu suffers from a mysterious illness that has run throughout his family for generations and the cure to it is in the hands of Hong-jo. The magical book which may be the cure brings the two closer and a romance brews between them.

Jo Bo-ah returns with this drama after recently starring in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 as Nam Ji-ah. SF9’s Rowoon was last seen in 2022’s Tomorrow as Choi Joon-woong. Ha Jun previously starred in Missing: The Other Side Season 2 as Shin Joon while Yura’s previous role was in Forecasting Love and Weather as Chae Yoo-jin. New episodes of Destined With You arrive on JTBC on Wednesday-Thursday at 10.30 PM. Previously, the same timeslot was occupied by Miraculous Brothers.

Destined With You Episode 12 Release Date and Time

The Korean TV series will air from August 23, 2023 – October 12, 2023. Episode 12 of the series will air on September 28, 2023 at 10.30 PM KST/8.30 pm IST.

Shin-yu will panic at the thought of Jang-beom targeting Hong-jo. Shin-yu will somehow find Hong-jo and save her from the danger. During the save, Hong-jo will start remembering bits and pieces of her past life and will wonder about what happened to both of them. The symptoms will become severe for Shin-yu due to the curse put by Jang-beom.

Shin-yu and Hong-jo will soon uncover their deep connection and more details about what happened to them. This will put a toll on Hong-jo as the revelation will be shocking. Jae-kyung will find it hard to control his feelings for Hong-jo but will keep his cool. Nayeon, on the other hand, will go to any extreme to separate Hong-jo and Shin-yu. Chances are there for Wook and Shin-yu’s mother to fall for each other.

Destined With You Episode 11 Recap

Shin-yu hides his curse symptoms from Hong-jo to avoid worrying her. They then enjoy a romantic shopping trip and decide to spend the night together at his house. However, thoughts of the curse consume him. They both then go check out the sunrise. On their way back home, they encounter Jae-kyung, who feels disheartened seeing them together. They all have breakfast at Shin-yu’s house, where Jae-kyung observes their affectionate behavior, leaving him feeling disheartened.

The next day, Nayeon questions Shin-yu about their relationship, but he asks her to stay out of his relationship with Hong-jo. Later, he meets with Seo-gu to discuss a garden owner, Jang-beom’s fraudulent activities and learns about the owner’s missing wife. Meanwhile, Hong-jo’s colleagues inquire about her relationship with Shin-yu, and during a truth or dare game, they discover that Shin-yu has broken up with Nayeon. They take everyone to karaoke where Hong-jo’s colleagues focus on flirting with Shin-yu. Shin-yu serenades Hong-jo before they part ways.

As Hong-jo returns home, she finds Jae-kyung drunk and he confronts her about her relationship with Shin-yu. The next morning, they both reconcile, and Jang-beom, takes a picture of them secretly. Later, Shin-yu visits a doctor regarding his tactile hallucinations and reflects on the curse. He reads a note from his ancestor about the curse’s inheritance. The following day, pictures of Hong-jo with Jae-kyung and Shin-yu go viral, causing drama at the city hall. Hong-jo confronts Nayeon and her colleagues, who feel embarrassed for pursuing Shin-yu.

The story takes a dark turn when Shin-yu hints at Jang-beom about his missing wife, leading to the discovery of a skeleton when a tree is moved from a park. Shin-yu questions Seo-gu about the timeline of the wife’s disappearance, realizing it could be Jang-beom’s wife. Simultaneously, Hong-jo investigates a newly dug pit on an isolated hill when Jang-beom appears, pushing her into the pit, causing her to lose consciousness, and ending the episode on a cliffhanger.
