Delicious In Dungeon Episode 4 Review and Recap – Rampaging Orcs
Laios and his party are back with some new recipes and adventures. They are now at the third level of the dungeon, which is famous for not having many food options. But that does not mean it is without any inhabitants, as now the dungeon has entered the once very opulent castle, you will get dust-covered statues and molded walls. You will also see walking skeletons, ghouls, or zombies and occasionally adventures like Laios, who have also come to defeat the evil magician.

In this episode, the things that we saw are golems, which are magical creatures made from mud and are basically puppets who follow the orders of their creators. Thankfully, for Marcille, one cannot eat these because they are 99% made up of dirt, but they can be used in a very ingenious way, according to Senshi.
Senshi has really perfected the art of living alone, as in this third part of the dungeon, he even has a hideout filled with all the necessary things one might need. From here, he goes to hunt on the 2nd and the 4th floor and then occasionally visits the top to get important ingredients. And it is here where he also grows his own crops, for which he uses the bodies of golems as his field.
He literally removes the core of these things, plants whatever seeds he wants, and then rebuilds them because it is much easier to grow crops like this, as they do not need maintenance. Not only that, but he’s also the one who preserves these golems so that creatures from the lower part of the dungeon do not terrorize the upper region beasts or escape from the dungeon. He does these things because he feels like he is giving something back to the dungeon for living off its resources and eating its residents.
Through this episode, we get to know just how deeply Senshi is connected with the dungeon and how much this place has become like a home for him. Though he knows it is easier for him to live outside, he doesn’t want to and is willing to go to great lengths to keep the place well-conserved and protected from foreign entities. And even after that, he is willing to go on this difficult adventure with Laios, so that they do not starve themselves.

We also witness Senshi’s importance, when everyone gets attacked by orcs. They are some of the most dangerous inhabitants of the dungeon who do not think twice before killing their natural enemies, humans, and elves.
Verdict
This was another fun episode that talked about recipes but also gave us information about the dungeon. We learn how dangerous it can be to live a normal life here and also get some insight into the animosity that orcs share with humans and elves.
