Dalah: Death and the Flower Ending Explained
The series starts with high-profile florist Dalah fussing over the flower arrangement for the wedding of the century between Ohm and Risa, both of whom belong to very influential families. Ohm, moreover, is about to become the next Prime Minister, so this wedding is a big deal for both families. However, after an awkward dinner between the families when they go to Dalah’s studio to look over the flowers for the wedding, things get heated. Certain members fight with each other, ending in fireworks and a lot of annoyed members. Tragically, the next day they find Ohm murdered in the midst of his smashed wedding flowers.
An investigation immediately starts after the police find bullet wounds on him and the families are left heartbroken. However, certain members of both families don’t seem to be as grief-stricken and moreover, the grieving fiance also seems to have disappeared. Since the tragedy happened at Dalah’s studio, she comes under scrutiny as well, although she tells them that after Ohm had left at 11 PM, she had gone to bed. Unfortunately, with Risa still missing and now becoming a prime suspect, things don’t look up for Dalah as well.

Meanwhile, the younger generation of the two houses, Kris, Pam and XinXin seem to be in the midst of their own turmoil. It becomes clear soon enough that there was some inappropriate behaviour from Ohm’s side towards XinXin due to which both Kris and Pam hate him. As Prapha starts to question whether Kris and Risa are having an affair and the rumour starts to make rounds in the family, suspicion is diverted towards everyone. After much fighting between Pam and XinXin, the former decides to tell the police that Risa is the murderer but Detective Montree has his suspicions.
In the midst of this, Dalah conducts her own investigations and finds a surprising fabric in the midst of her shattered floral arrangement. Not sure of what it is, she realises that someone in the family is part of this mess which brings her to send letters to both the families asking them to come to her studio.
Dalah: Death and the Flower Episode 6

In the Dalah: Death and the Flower finale, both families converge at Dalah’s studio and she starts to break down all of the evidence that she has gathered. She starts by telling the family of Ohm’s misdeeds which leaves everyone shocked and disgusted, although Ekapop refuses to believe these allegations. However, everyone continues to point fingers at Dalah for the crime and Ekapop mentions that he had died around 11 PM, during which time Dalah had told the police that Ohm had taken his car out. Dalah, however, reminds everyone about the low temperature inside the studio meant to keep the flowers fresh for longer and tells them that had helped in delaying the decomposition of the body.
Although everyone brushes it off as carefully orchestrated excuses, she then brings forth the colours of the roses on the ground and how these flowers need a set time to turn from white to blue. This is a scientific process that depends on a lot of factors and the shattered flowers, which were put in dye water, only turned semi blue which indicates that Ohm had died between 10.24 PM and 10.35 PM. She further brings up the shoe prints left at the crime scene and mentions how Ekasit and Ekapop share almost identical shoe sizes indicating that it was either of them who have done the deed.

Although Ekapop is left fuming at the allegation of murdering his own son, Dalah brings up the fibre that she and the police had found on the spot which belongs to an animal. As it turns out both of these indicate that it was Ekasit who had murdered Ohm out of fury. Tired of being the scapegoat of all of Ohm’s misdeeds, he took revenge on him after Ekapop admitted to throwing his brother under the bus for Ohm’s taste in women. However, Dalah is not done yet — she brings up her murder’s mysterious murder and even brings Mr Khoon to the studio, who had run her mother over. As it turns out, Emma was murdered under orders from Ekapop, who, trying to keep his family’s reputation alive, had gotten Emma killed so that she wouldn’t expose their secrets.
In the present, Montree, having realised his faults and accepting that he can’t brush away the Ohm’s rape charges, decides to do the right thing and arrests both the brothers. Free from carrying around the burden of heartbreak and revenge, she finally connects with her mother’s memories.
