Crash Course in Romance Episode 15 Recap and Review: Ji-Dong hui’s Emotional Conclusion

Crash Course in Romance (일타 스캔들) is a Korean drama series directed by Yoo Je-won, written by Yang Hee-seung, and stars Jeon Do-yeon, Jung Kyung-ho in the leading roles alongside other cast members.

Crash Course in Romance Episode 15 has a total runtime of 75 minutes. Meanwhile, the plot of the series revolves around a brewing romance between a star math instructor and a side dish store owner. Notably, the Kdrama also takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:10 KST time slot previously occupied by Alchemy of Souls.

Episode 15 of the Kdrama opens with Hae-e’s real mother visiting her unconscious daughter in the hospital, applying nail polish to her hand so she wakes up pretty. Nam arrives and removes her from Hae-e’s vicinity, noticing the nail polish and removing it. The sisters then receive news that the exam paper has been leaked, leading to the arrest of one of the competitive mothers.

After the arrest and news, Ji-Dong hui returns to Choi’s office after being forgiven for his misbehaviour. Choi begins to follow him around to deduce his true intentions. Upon learning that Hae-e may soon wake up from her coma, Ji-Dong hui visits the hospital to kill her. However, Nam stops him before he can harm Hae-e, leading to a fight between Nam and Ji-Dong hui.

Choi arrives on the scene heroically, rescuing Nam from Ji-Dong hui and confronting him regarding his true identity. The two have an emotional breakdown, and Ji-Dong hui realizes that he can no longer protect Choi and jumps from the terrace. A flashback scene gives insight into Ji-Dong hui’s traumatic past and the reason he became Choi’s assistant.

The rest of the episode focuses on Hae-e’s recovery as she wakes up and begins to regain her health. In the end, Hae-e celebrates her birthday with her family, who are all happy to see her healthy again.

The revelation of the leaked exam paper added to the excitement and the unexpected twist in the story, which served to further elevate the storyline. The return of Ji-Dong hui to Choi’s office, along with Choi’s vigilant behaviour towards him, maintained the suspense in the episode.

The most moving part of the episode came when Ji-Dong hui attempted to kill Hae-e, which led to an intense fight between him and Nam.
