Netflix is on a roll once more – the streaming giant has been steadily releasing some very interesting and arresting shows that have not only caught people by surprise but have caught their fancy like no other. Whether it be dramas or thrillers, the platform has just been pumping out some real bangers over the last few years and 2024 is proving to be no different. Thus when it comes to its thriller library, the platform has tried to reinvent itself and find different ways to bring something more to the table. Given its track record, thus, one can’t help but wonder what’s on the cards for the platform next!
Colors of Evil: Red Plot
The movie centres around the gruesome murder of a young girl, after which an ambitious and unrelenting prosecutor Leopold Bilski decides to stop at nothing to find the perpetrator. However, the case takes a turn when he realises that the present case is eerily similar to a case from 15 years ago, but he is unable to open the closed case after his supervisor gets wind of his motives. Frustrated and fuelled by the need to find justice, he teams up with the victim’s mother who has been grappling to live on after losing her child.
The two, thus, go on a journey through the seedy underworld of crime in Poland’s Tricity which takes them to a seaside nightclub with connections to the local organised crime unit.

Based on Małgorzata Oliwia Sobczak’s crime novel, the crime-thriller movie is directed by Adrian Panek and written by Panek and Kukasz M. Maciejewski. The Polish crime film stars Jakub Gierszat, Maja Ostaszewska, Zofia Jastrzebska, Andrzej Konopka, Premystaw Bluszcz, Wojciech Zielinski, Andrzej Zielinski, Jan Wieteska, Kukasz Pawtowski, Wojciech Kalita, Zbigniew Stry, Szymon Czacki, Daniel Dobosz and others.
