Coachella 2023 is in full gear as artists from around the world are performing at the festival. It is paradise on earth for music lovers to watch their favourite singers perform live onstage. In today’s line-up, April 22, 2023, Becky G was part of it and her stellar performance was not the only thing that turned the crowd wild. BTS J-hope dropped a lovely message for the artist to show his support during the performance.
In the small clip, he was seen wearing a casual white jacket with his usual well-groomed hairstyle. He appeared on the big screen during her performance at the Festival, and the singer, along with the audience, were taken by surprise. He went on to say that he wished he could be part of the epic party to cheer her on. The video ended with him wishing her the best and sending all the love from Korea.
Both artists have had a long-running friendship for years. They became closer following their collaboration on the song Chicken Noodle Soup which is sampled from DJ Webstar and rapper Young B’s song of the same name. They have been inseparable since and have expressed their platonic love for each other multiple times. The artists not only value their friendship but also have immense respect for one another for their amazing talents. They are looking forward to working with each other again and featuring in more projects together.
J-hope is currently serving in the South Korean military due to the country’s mandatory enlistment. He officially enlisted on April 18, 2023, as an active-duty soldier. He is the second member of BTS to do so, following the oldest member, Jin enlisting in 2022. However, before leaving, he participated in various solo projects which, includes a solo album, Jack in the Box. He also released a collaboration song with American rapper J. Cole called On the Street, and he dedicated it to his fans who stuck by him through thick and thin.
Becky G has also been working on new music, and she recently released the single Chanel featuring Peso Pluma. Known for delivering amazing performances, the audience cannot stop applauding her amazing stage presence at Coachella. She will be appearing on more stages during the festival.
