Climax Episode 4 Recap
This episode reveals that when all those things were happening with Ji-soo, Tae-seop was right outside because he’s the one who drove one of the men abusing Ji-soo to that place. When the chief prosecutor forgot his cigarettes in the car, he asked Tae-seop to come inside. Upon entering, he sees Ji-soo getting manhandled, and he kind of saves her when she tries to escape. However, she returns, and she makes eye contact with him one last time. Though she looked at him with pleading eyes, he could not do anything to protect her, and he left the house.
Jae-sang disclosed this information to the YouTuber, claiming that it was the moment when everyone’s life got entangled. That was also the night after which Ji-soo passed away. Sang-ah is absolutely devastated by the news and breaks down in front of the media.
At the funeral, Tae-seop saw Sang-ah face-to-face. Here, she makes a scene in front of everyone, blaming the CEO on his face for Ji-soo’s death, and Tae-seop comes to support Sang-ah. After this incident, the CEO starts to keep tabs on Sang-ah and even puts cameras all over her apartment. And even when Sang-ah tried to call the police, she could not because the CEO had evidence against her.

After listening to the story, the YouTuber scolds Jae-sang because he paints Sang-ah as a victim and not someone who is the suspect, as he would like. It is then revealed that it was Jae-sang in Sang-ah’s place who actually stabbed the CEO in the original scene. Interestingly enough, the prosecutor for that case was Tae-seop, and he managed to find out some groundbreaking revelations.
There was another man who ordered the murder of the CEO apart from Sang-ah. It was none other than the Chairman himself. Tae-seop hid this information from Sang-ah and proposed marriage to her with a promise that they would rise together, and he would keep her secret safe. In a way, he manipulated her into being with him, and she found that out toward the latter half of this episode. She becomes extremely angry with him and even tells him how she would not have married him at that time had he revealed the truth to her.
She also felt extremely bad for pinning the blame on an innocent person, her bodyguard, Jae-sang. Towards the end, we see her being extremely agitated when Tae-seop calls her a murderer. She leaves the house in her bathrobe and takes the car while stumbling on her feet. In a trance, she drives to nowhere and stops the car when she almost hits a person. Finally, she comes out of her car, and just when she is about to walk towards the road, a person comes, and she stops in her tracks in shock. This episode ended here.

Climax Episode 4 Review
I’m absolutely intrigued and in awe of this episode and the way its secrets are gradually unfolding. It’s clear that every character in this series carries a manipulative edge, and I can’t wait to see what other surprises the writers and director have in store for us.
