Set in the year 2003, the trailer opens up with a character named Detective Parsa, saying how the City of New York is under complete surveillance at all times with the help of CCTV cameras, phone records and various things that could confirm a person’s location. However, when an NYU student named Samantha is shot in Central Park on the Fourth of July, there are no witnesses and very little physical evidence that could help.

Her best friend Charlie was the first person to find her, as she had promised to meet him in the park. He is already struggling to cope with the death of his father on 9/11 two years earlier and with what happened to Samantha, he just can’t wrap his head around it & decides to unearth the mystery behind her getting shot.

But it isn’t a simple crime, as one murder seems to be connected with various people, who may or may not be the actual culprit. Everyone who even remotely knew Samantha has an inkling of what might be the reason for her tragedy and is holding on to some secrets that might prove lethal for themselves as well.

While Charlie is trying to get to the bottom of everything, we see in the trailer that Samantha is being carried out on a stretcher, a scene from probably after she gets shot and is taken to the hospital. This could mean that Samantha is not dead after all and there might be some chance of her regaining consciousness and revealing the name of the culprit who shot her.
