After their 2018 hit Simmba, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh collaborated for a film called Cirkus. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma and many others. Due to the lockdown, there was no clue when the film will release. Fans can now rejoice as the makers have announced the release date.
Ranveer starrer Cirkus will hit the theatre screens during Christmas this year. The film had pinned the date December 23, 2022, worldwise. Shetty took to his Instagram page to announce the release date along with a brand new poster.
On his social media, the Sooryavanshi director wrote, “It’s time to bring our audience back to the cinemas… ONCE AGAIN! Golmaal was released 16 years ago, and the love you all gave me made me what i am today!

In the poster, we can see Ranveer in two avatars. The poster also features the talented star cast, including Siddharth Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Vrajesh Hirjee, Sanjay Mishra, and others.

Meanwhile, Rohit’s last directorial was Sooryavanshi (2020) which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The film had special appearances by Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer Singh as Simmba. Next, the director works on his Amazon Prime Video cop show, the Indian Police Force. The show stars Siddharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty.
Ranveer Singh is all geared up for his May 13 release Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film is directed by Divyang Thakkar and stars Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak Shah and Boman Irani. He will be next seen in Karan Johar helmed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In the rom-com, Singh stars alongside his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt.
