Chainsaw Man Trailer: Dark Fantasy Anime Teases Lots of Action and Thrills

The trailer for the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man is finally here and we are really excited for the horror and comedy-filled anime. Directed by Ryū Nakayama and Makoto Nakazono, the anime stars Kenjiro Tsuda as Kishibe, Mariya Ise as Himeno, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama, Pochita as Shiori Izawa and Taku Yashiro voicing Hirokazu Arai.

Chainsaw Man is an anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name that follows the story of an impoverished young man Denji who makes a contract with a dog-like devil Pochita. The devil then fuses with Denji and gives him the ability to transform parts of his body into a chainsaw.

Denji later joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters which is a government agency that kills any devil who is on the verge of becoming a threat to the world.

The trailer shows the groups of devil hunters being formed and soon Denji too becomes a part of the group. While someone calls this group of devil hunters crazy, the rookies just want to live through another day.

As the characters are slowly introduced in the clip, Denji shows his will to live this life as a devil hunter even if it could possibly kill him. The opening theme song then follows his lines and this song hits at the right spot as the abilities of the various hunters are shown on screen.

With some really cool action scenes which are also filled with a lot of gore, the trailer continues to bring up the intensity of the upcoming show. And once again, Denji who is seen fighting as his hybrid self, asks the question why even through all the patience that he has exuded he hasn’t “Gotten to cop a single damn feel yet?”
