Castaway Diva (무인도의 디바) is a Korean rom-com that tells the story of a woman stranded on an island for 15 years and how she comes back into society and tries to pursue her dream to be an idol. Directed by Oh Choong-hwan, the drama stars Park Eun-bin, Kim Hyo-jin, Chae Jong-hyeop, Cha Hak-yeon, Kim Joo-heon, and Lee Re, alongside other cast members.
The Kdrama tells the story of Seo Mok-ha who dreams of becoming a singer, however, an incident leaves her stranded on a deserted island where she survives for 15 years. Now, she is rescued, but times have changed and circumstances make achieving her dream challenging. Will she be able to become a singer and get her stage?
The show will have 12 episodes and be broadcast on tvN in the Saturday-Sunday slot at 9:20 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Arthdal Chronicles season 2. The Castaway Diva episode 10 has a run time of 74 minutes.

After Bo-geol’s confession on the night he met his father, Sang-doo goes to Mok-ha and hands over medicine for Bo-geol and asks about Bong-wan. Mok-ha is aware of the turmoil within him and repeats the words Bo-geol once told her about lies and how getting rid of them as soon as possible is the best way to keep yourself safe.
Now, when Woo-hak catches him, Sang-doo tells him that he has surrendered himself for identity theft and has been making rounds at the police station for the past few days. Meanwhile, Bong-wan arrives at the salon and confronts Ha-jung while Mok-ha sneakily texts Bo-geol and stops him from coming home.
He then tells Ha-jung that he is here to bring her back home with his sons which leaves them shocked as Mok-ha warns him that she will call the police and inform them of how he has been stalking her. This doesn’t faze Bong-wan as he is aware that the Kang family would be in bigger trouble, but Mok-ha doesn’t give up and calls the police.

Right then, Woo-hak and Sang-doo arrive and the latter lets them know that there is nothing to fear as he has already confessed to having stolen someone else’s identity to the police. Mok-ha once again tries to intervene when Bong-wan moves to attack her only to be saved by Woo-hak who then goes to hit him. However, he hesitates which is when Mok-ha and Sang-doo stop him.
The police arrive and take Bong-wan away while Bo-geol arrives to see a tired Mok-ha who faints in his arms. She later tells him to not waste any emotions on Bong-wan as he is someone who doesn’t deserve it. The next day, the real Kang family is excavated from the reservoir and the truth is now completely out in the open.
The Kang family faces the scrutiny of everyone as the brothers have to resign from their jobs while the neighbours scrutinise them. Mok-ha sees this and doesn’t back out from giving them an earful while defending the family. The brothers and Mok-ha then begin researching how they can get out of this mess while Bong-wan is happy to see them in trouble.
However, he is unable to get any information about their case as he himself has an investigation to face. Meanwhile, Dae-woong’s case is also on hold as the investigators are yet to proceed even after getting the footage. Elsewhere, Ran-joo works hard on Mok-ha’s album and soon decides to meet her regarding the scandal that lurking around the Kang family.
She calls Mok-ha as well as Bo-geol, signalling the latter to hear their conversation from outside while she speaks to Mok-ha. She tells of the desperation that Mok-ha really needs to have to make it big in this industry and how only by putting her all can she really expect Ran-joo to help her again.
Ran-joo asks her to cut all ties with the Kang family, only then would she be able to help Mok-ha as her connection with them can put her in even bigger trouble. She gives Mok-ha time to decide and goes to Bo-geol, handing him the responsibility to decide for Mok-ha.
Without any concern for himself, Mok-ha’s Ki-ho once again prepares for her dreams as he readies everything needed for Mok-ha’s journey to fame. Just like 15 years back when he prepared for their escape, he once again prepares for her escape from the mess that can bring trouble in her life.
Elsewhere, Mok-ha too makes a choice and decides to leave in order to fulfil the dream Ki-ho has worked so hard to create a path for her. However, she meets Bo-geol when leaving and he takes her to the house he had prepared for her when he first found her on the island. He tells her to work hard for her future and give her 99% while leaving that 1%.
He tells her to come to the rooftop room if things get overwhelming, for he will be prepared to help her escape from everything that is troubling her. Just like 15 years ago, he will be prepared for whenever she decides to come back. Mok-ha is shocked by everything that he has done for her and cannot help breaking down.
Castaway Diva Episode 10 Ending
Ran-joo soon gets Mok-ha’s confirmation and she signs her contract termination papers. The next day, the Kang family gets to know of Mok-ha’s departure from Bo-geol while Woo-hak rushes up to see the room empty. He finally confesses his feelings for Mok-ha to Sang-doo and cannot stop himself from crying.
Meanwhile, Ran-joo hands over the papers to Seo-joon while Mok-ha begins recording her album. The days pass with Mok-ha working on her album while the Kang family works on their identity theft case. However, another storm occurs when a journalist publishes an article about Ran-joo’s motive behind helping Mok-ha which brings chaos.
Ran-joo decides to take all the blame as Mok-ha’s album is almost done and she needs to keep a clean image for her debut. Mok-ha is not ready to accept this and decides that they all need to face their fears as only by entering deep waters can they learn to swim. As Ha-jung decides to work together and face their past, Dae-woong finally awakens which only brings troubles for Bong-wan.
Castaway Diva Episode 10 Review
A new green flag has emerged as Ki-ho/Bo-geol steals our hearts with his sincere love for Mok-ha which needs no labels to show how deep his feelings run. These two have really crossed all boundaries and become one of the best couples in Kdramas because their silent love is leaving us with the bubbliest feelings.
However, while these two are warming our hearts, Woo-hak’s pain and anger have brought us wonderment because those were some feelings that we could all feel. His breaking heart made us cry while his anger towards Bong-wan got us struck with how well he performed the moment.
Adding on, Seo-joon has definitely left us thinking about what is going on on his end till the end because while his actions say something, his expression says something else. However, all this still does not justify what he is doing to Ran-joo and she is someone whom we all expect to find a happy ending.
