Captivating the King Plot

Lee In is a prince with a caring older brother, King Lee Sun. Pledging loyalty to his brother, Lee In is taken hostage by the Qing Dynasty. Unfortunately, King Lee Sun misinterprets this loyalty as betrayal, leading to a strained relationship. Lee In suffers emotionally due to his brother’s resentment.

During his time as a hostage, Lee In encounters an unknown baduk player who captivates him with her skills. Eventually, circumstances unfold, and Lee In ascends to the throne as the king. Despite holding a powerful position, he grapples with internal sadness and vulnerability.

Kang Hee Soo, previously known as a skilled but unknown baduk player, crosses paths with Prince Lee In and falls in love with him. However, fate takes a twist as she becomes a spy with a mission for revenge. Her journey involves approaching King Lee In, adding complexities to their intertwined destinies.

The three main roles are done by Jo Jung-suk as Lee In, Shin Sae-kyeong as Kang Hee-soo/ Kang Mong-woo and Lee Shin-young as Kim Myung-ha. Captivating the King Episode 11 Indian Release Date and Time

The South Korean TV series episodes will air from January 21, 2024, each with a runtime of 70 minutes. Episodes 11 of the series will air on February 17 on Netflix at 8:30 pm.

The King will be informed about Mong-woo’s plan with regards to the substitution of the princess. After realising the truth, the King will becomes mad furious at Hee-soo for carrying out such a foul plan knowing the risks behind it. He will question her and get mad at her for putting him in the spot. Hee-soo will bear all the fault and will be punished severely though the King feels painful to execute the order.

However, if he doesn’t abide the court officials this time he knows it will cause a ruckus hence he will order a severe punishment. Hee-soo will be exiled and the principal director will confront her as Mong-woo (as he’s unaware of her real identity). However he will mention Sang-hoon, her father’s name because he might be suspicious of her disguise as a man.

In a rare turn of events, the game starts and ends in a tie, saving Mong-woo from the anticipated danger. However, a new challenge arises as the Qing dynasty’s Prince Rui expresses a desire to marry the young Joseon princess. Faced with the threat of war if they decline, the King is left with a difficult decision.

Amidst the turmoil, court officials convene to share their perspectives. Ultimately, the King agrees to the marriage, leaving the princess heartbroken. Despite her pleas to stay, the King, bound by duty, insists on following through with the arrangement. The Principal Director, shocked by the King’s decision, expresses his joy to the Queen Dowager and anticipates the possibility of a substitution.

Hee-soo, recognizing the potential danger, devises a plan to substitute one of her maids as the princess. Her intention is to send the maid as a spy to the Qing dynasty, uncovering Prince Rui’s plans. Executing the plan without the King’s knowledge, Hee-soo navigates the complexities of palace politics.

The Qing envoy arrives, and the substitution is seemingly successful, with the maid resembling the princess. However, complications arise when a senior maid notices the real princess missing during the departure. The Principal Director, suspecting a substitution, halts the palanquin to unveil the princess’s face. Hee-soo, panicking and desperate, faces a critical moment as the episode concludes.
