Call It Love Episode 11 Recap
Call It Love episode 11 starts with Woo-joo and Hae-sung at home with their mother – the atmosphere is tense, and everyone is rather uncomfortable. The revelation from the last episode has frustrated everyone, and thus, all four of them tiptoe around each other and their mother.
When the four of them get out of the house, it comes to light that it’s Woo-joo’s birthday. However, they decide not to get a cake or celebrate because of the rather horrible way in which their mother got to know about the house. Woo-joo and Hae-sung get into a fight soon after, which ends with the former walking away in a huff, followed by the others.

Woo-joo, however, has a change of heart right outside the office building and decides to go back home and help her mother with the chores. This time, at least, she tells everyone at the office that she is taking the day off so as not to worry them. Meanwhile, Sun-woo pulls Dong-jin’s leg after he realises that the latter has remembered Woo-joo’s birthday from her resume.
Dong-jin simply smiles coyly as his friend continues to poke him, but it seems like he’s also thoroughly enjoying this new phase in his life.
Meanwhile, Woo-joo tells Hyun-ju that Hee-ja is staying in their house and that she went to her father’s funeral wearing the flashiest clothes that she could lay her hands on. Her mother tries to understand her heartbreak and suffering and helps her unload some of the burdens that she has been carrying around since the funeral.
Outside his pharmacy, Jun recounts the last night with Hae-sung, wherein she had learnt about her childish boyfriend. They discussed her mental health struggles, but mostly, she told him that she liked him. Jun, however, didn’t react too positively, which is understandable in a way, and decided to walk away almost immediately.

Now in the present, he can’t help but think back to that night and, in the end, asks her to meet him before going home. However, she plans on meeting Su-ho first to end their relationship officially.
On the other hand, Young-min applies to an opening in Best Fairs, which leaves Yu-ri, Soo-hee and Sun-woo shocked. The latter tells Yu-ri to simply reply that their company will never accept his application again.
Later on, everyone in the office is left rather shocked when Dong-jin leaves the office before everyone. He picks up a cake for her while Hae-sung meets Su-ho and, after enduring a lot of verbal lashing, gets it rather maturely.
Meanwhile, Woo-joo and Hyun-ju meet Ji-gu at his workplace, and he immediately starts panicking. After taking his sister aside, he tells her that Dong-jin is there as well with a cake for her and that they can’t let Dong-jin meet their mother. Woo-joo is shocked that her brother knows the truth but is unable to stop Dong-jin from meeting Hyun-ju.
Surprisingly (or maybe not), it seems like Hyun-ju isn’t having quite the worst time with him and even gets compliments on their pairing before going home. Hyun-ju is totally smitten with Dong-jin and calls him calm and decent, and tells Ji-gu that Dong-jin is different from their father.

On the other hand, Dong-jin and Woo-joo have a birthday dinner together, and they discuss what he was talking to Hyun-ju about and who liked whom first. It’s an incredibly sweet and heartwarming scene, with Woo-joo blushing and Dong-jin unable to stop himself from smiling.
As Dong-jin and Woo-joo walk back home hand in hand, Sun-woo gets the shock of his life when Young-min arrives at the office with goodies in his hand, hoping to make amends. Sun-woo refuses to relent, and Young-min finally lets Woo-joo’s horrible secret out. Sun-woo is obviously extremely disturbed by the news and decides to investigate the truth behind all of this.
The next morning, on their way to work, Min-young tells Dong-jin that she is moving and wishes him well. Dong-jin opens up to her enough to tell her that he likes Woo-joo and wants to be happy with her. The news somewhat rattles Min-young, and just as she tries to wrap her head around her own feelings, she gets a call from Hee-ja, who tells her that she needs to go to an address immediately.
As it turns out, Hee-ja is desperately trying to sell the house, but things aren’t going that well for her. In the meantime, Nam-il pulls Hyun-ju alone for a chat after stalking her for some time, while Hae-sung and Jun finally hash it out with each other after her rather embarrassing confession the other night.

At Best Fairs, Sun-woo can’t stop himself from wondering what is happening with Woo-joo. To put his mind to rest, he pulls Woo-joo aside and tells her to keep their discussion a secret and asks her directly about Young-min’s accusations. She is unable to lie to him and tells him the truth that she did lie to everyone and helps Young-min try to destroy them.
A confused Sun-woo asks her why she would do such a thing and goes a step further and tells her that even if they can move past all of this, how will Dong-jin feel when he gets to know the truth? He admonishes her for not telling him anything after they realise their feelings for each other, and the realisation of how much the truth will hurt Dong-jin breaks Woo-joo’s heart.
Call It Love Episode 11 Ending
That night, Woo-joo is supposed to take the rest of Ji-gu’s things from Dong-jin’s place. However, it is evident that the guilt is gnawing at her heart. She eventually does go to his house and have dinner together, after which he opens up to her about his mother and how she is a weakness for him, one that has constantly resulted in him being used and betrayed by people.
After telling her everything, however, he very tenderly asks her whether she would like to spend the night with him, and she agrees.
Call It Love Episode 11 Review

Ok, guys, this show has me hooked. They have reeled me in with the character arcs, and the story that is just emotional and sort of thrilling at the same time. This drama is just so heavy on emotion that it gets a bit difficult to process everything together but this episode really did give us some very heartwarming moments that will make you root for these characters for once and relate to them.
All in all, I can’t wait to watch what happens with Woo-joo’s impromptu night with Dong-jin. And, oh – it’s so wonderful to watch Hae-sung’s complex emotions and situations. Absolutely delicious.
