Cafe Minamdang (미남당) is a mystery-drama-comedy TV series directed by Ko Jae-hyun and written by Park Hye-jin, the series is based on the book Minamdang: Sagun Soochub written by Jung Jae-han. The series, created by Park Hye-jin, Ko Jae-hyun and Yun Ra-young, takes over KBS2’s Monday-Tuesday 9.30 PM KST slot previously occupied by Bloody Heart.

The series follows criminal profiler turned scammer Nam Han-jun who scams people with his charisma. However, he also helps them with his services by getting involved in their lives and giving them customer service. In one way or another, his life gets entwined with detective Han Jae-hui and chaos ensues!

The series is based on the novel Minamdang Sagun Soochub by Jung Jae-han.

Netflix describes the series: “A suspicious business that offers the services of a purportedly all-knowing shaman catches the attention of a tenacious police inspector.”

The main cast includes Seo In-guk and Oh Yeon-seo, along with Kwak Si-yang, Kang Mi-na, Kwon Soo-hyun and Baek Seo-hoo as supporting cast.

The series will stream internationally on Netflix and will also air on KBS2.

The mystery-comedy series is slated to have 18 episodes and will air every week on Monday and Tuesday.

The series will stream from June 27 to August 23, 2022, at 9.30 PM KST (around 7.30 PM IST). Cafe Minamdang episode 4 will stream on Netflix on July 05 at around 7.30 PM IST.
