BTS’ V brings another winter special soon titled Winter Ahead with Park Hyo-shin, and he has already got fans screaming after the teaser release. The idol announced the release of their upcoming duet a few days back and now with the release of the song’s first teaser, we can see an artistic experience ahead. The teaser shows Kim Tae-hyung in various moods, settings, sceneries, and themes, which has us looking forward to how the song is going to play out.
The teaser begins with V waking up to the sound of the pouring rain outside followed by him walking down a hallway shitless. The mood changes soon after as he puts on a shirt while the rain continues to pour outside. He picks up his tool and begins carving a wooden sculpture while different scenes begin to pass by. From performing in a theatre to dancing around with people and later standing in a dark flower field with the spotlight hitting him.
The scene continues to change while he carves the sculpture, and we see him in front of a house where he smiles. But when a shadow shows up behind him when he is looking at the mirror, his expressions change in all of these scenes. A thrilling feeling creeps in as more scenes pop up in the barrage and we find calm when the focus falls on his face as a hand slowly traces through his facial curves. While the mystery of whose hand it can be, or if it is his own, the teaser comes to an end and leaves us shaken up with what we saw.
With the first teaser being this intense, we can say that the artist has surely poured a lot of effort into this upcoming song. The teaser is simply marvellous and intriguing while the idol’s perfection only goes up a step higher. The idol’s winter songs have always been one to look forward to and when he does a duet with the ballad singer known for his vocal chords, we can expect something that is sure to leave us speechless.
Meanwhile, the teaser continues to rotate in our heads as we try to decode the various scenes that pass through in the short clip. There were many themes involved in this clip which belong to both extremes of one’s emotional range and bring up a curiosity within oneself.
