BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung at Cannes 2023? 5 Times He Won Hearts With His Fashion

On May 22 (IST), it was confirmed that the BTS singer would be making his French Riviera debut, but before we catch Kim Taehyung at Cannes 2023, it’s imperative that we scoop up some of his best fashion serves. The South Korean K-pop artist took to his Instagram stories few hours ago to raise the hype around his appearance at the prestigious film festival. Continuing his current stint as the brand ambassador of a luxury fashion brand, he’s been personally invited by them to Cannes.

A source from BIGHIT MUSIC also confirmed the same news and added that he had originally visited France for a pictorial. Now, his official schedule will include this fashionable debut at the ceremonious event as well.

Taehyung’s recent fashion stint with the luxury brand has welcomed global attention and more eyes on his schedules. And with the new invitation in hand, his name is already trending high on Twitter even though he hasn’t stepped on to the red carpet yet. Which brings us back to all those times when he’s charmed the public with his oozing confidence as a model. Let’s turn our eyes to some of the best Kim Taehyung fashion looks that we’ve come across in the recent times, before his new Cannes arrival leaves a more intriguing impression on us.

Before We Spot Kim Taehyung at Cannes 2023, Here are Some of His Best Fashion Looks

1. Fronting a High-End Fashion Magazine

Taking charge of a magazine photoshoot, BTS V took his fans’ worlds by storm by presenting his never-seen-before avatar. The feature pictured his different sides by first capturing his slick outlook in shirtless portraits. While for other photos of the same photoshoot, he owned the leather look and gave us the most out of his minimalist style. Another set of distressed photos caught his bruised look with fringey denim and messy hair as his best accessories.

2. Special 8 Photo-Folio Me, Myself, and V ‘Veautiful Days’ Photoshoot – and Baker Boy Dreams

Taehyung’s sophisticated demeanour came across in his solo Photo-Folio feature. If some attires defined his inner classy gentlemanly side, then, for the others, he lost the velvety coat and made the dreamy baker boy vision come to life.

3. Victorian Vision in NY

We wouldn’t know how to react if a gentleman from the victorian period walked into an NY pub either. Luckily, the candid snap spared us the heartbreak and still blessed us with this picture and his outfit of the day. With ruffled sleeves spotted doing the bare minimum, Taehyung still makes his white shirt work like it’s a piece of art.

4. Celine Bling

At the Men’s S/S 2023 Fashion Show in Paris, Taehyung stunned us all with his black sequinned choice. Making heads turn, he went for an all-black ensemble, or was caught sporting a red jacket that became yet another vibrant eye-catching piece of clothing. The sequin bling wasn’t enough for him and so he paired it with his sparkling majestic necklace, taking centre stage as a blinding vision.

5. Casual Yet Suave Browns

On more than one occasion, the singer has channelled his casual yet formal fashionista tips, and in this photo he can be seen making the different shades of brown his own. Despite the overall solemn fashion options with his bag and watch strap also belonging to the brown aesthetic, he went for a rather bold and free floral shirt as his inner piece, reflecting the two sides of his well-known persona aptly.

In yet another interesting breakthrough, according to K-media, the singer/actor is also preparing for his official solo debut.

He was recently spotted taking a stroll with BLACKPINK Jennie, sparking dating rumours. She’ll be making her Cannes debut this year in support of the world premiere of her highly anticipated HBO Max original series The Idol. As per the official schedule, the series will be screened at the Grand Théâtre Lumière on May 22, 2023, from 10:30 PM to 12:16 AM CEST.  Other K-pop artists expected to attend the film festival include SM Entertainment’s girl group aespa and Jung Krystal. Jennie’s fellow member Rose was also spotted on the red carpet on May 17.
