BTS’ V Joins Forces With IU For Her Upcoming Music Video: A Dream-Like Collaboration

After the hiatus, we’ve witnessed several collaborations involving BTS members and solo artists. However, one of the most anticipated ones is BTS’ V joins forces with IU for her upcoming music video, set to be featured in her album scheduled for release in the first half of 2024. This news has excited fans, especially following an earlier announcement by BIGHIT MUSIC on Weverse about the military enlistment plans for all four members. The revelation indicates that Jimin and Jungkook will enlist first, going together, while RM and Taehyung will follow as per their individual procedures.

IU has previously collaborated with BTS’s Suga on songs like Eight and his solo album D-Day. However, the collaboration between Kim Taehyung and her is something that even fans couldn’t have imagined happening. Seeing it unfold is already sparking anticipation, as their vocals are sure to captivate and make hearts race. Many are expecting this collaboration to be a hit.

The Winter Bear singer made an appearance on IU’s YouTube show, Palette, while promoting his album Layover. During the show, The Strawberry Moon singer also covered V’s Love Me Again, which was a soothing treat for fans who adored it. This sparked a desire among fans to see them collaborate on a song together, highlighting their adorable friendship and leaving fans gushing.

One more common thing between them is their incredible talent not only as singers but also as actors. We have witnessed V’s acting skills in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, but due to his tight schedule, he hasn’t been able to do more dramas. On the other hand, IU has consistently showcased her acting prowess in dramas such as Moon Lovers, My Mister, and Hotel Del Luna ect, highlighting her versatility. She is widely considered as one of the best actresses in South Korea.

IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, has officially confirmed that IU has finished filming her music video alongside Taehyung, in yet another IU-BTS collaboration . Her highly anticipated album is in the works and is targeted for release in the first half of the upcoming year.

This album marks IU’s return after a hiatus of over two years since the launch of her album Pieces in late 2021. The following year, she graced the stage with her concert, The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun. Presently, she’s immersed in filming the upcoming drama series Thank You for Your Hard Work, co-starring alongside Park Bo-gum.
